The Speech to Text app uses Androids built-in Speech Recogniser to turn speech into text which can be sent as an SMS or Email or copied and pasted into another app.
Another feature is that the app can speak out text, with an option to change the language of the voice speaking.

[2013-10-26] A Google User: Tough to use while driving Which is the main reason I want a speech to text capability. I'm not too concerned with the accuracy of the translation, but I get a 'Run Time Error ' with texts over two sentences. Is this by design? If so, it's a HUGE mistake. Fix it at once. |

[2013-10-18] A Google User: Pretty cool Its pretty fast ,and it's 90-95% accurate in voice recognition,,copying to other apps is a breeze. I Don't normally say this,but it's actually pretty good,the only thimy I would say for improvement is,when the app picks up the wrong word in between a sentence,you can delete the word in between,but can not correct the word in between a sentence,the correction starts at the last word said,so u either need to delete all the words said till the mistaken word and start from there again . Otherwise it works great |
