Soap Maker Droid is a tool for the hobbiest who enjoy soapmaking. Soap Maker Droid helps calculate the amount of lye (sodium hydroxide[NaOH]) needed to convert the specified amount of fats and oils to soap. It comes with a database of over 130+ included oils and their average SAP (saponification) value. Its fast and easy to quickly pick the oils from a list. Soap making can be fun and even profitable - but always use proper protection when making your soaps!

[2012-10-19] Jon Paul: Needs to be fixed Entered a 16 oz oil recipe and it equated a 58 oz lye amount with only 4 oz of water.The calculated lye amount is WAY to high. This app can be dangerous to people how have not done their research on how to make soap safely. |
