SMS Backup + в Android Market

SMS Backup + (v. 1.4.6)

Automatically backup SMS, MMS and call log entries using a separate label in Gmail / Google Calendar. It is also possible to restore SMS and call log entries back to the phone (MMS not supported yet).

Remember to enable IMAP in Gmail and set the correct time/zone.

If you get a "You do not have permission to..." error or other problems during the first connect check the website for workarounds.

Please note that auto backup might not work reliably when SMS Backup+ is installed on the SD card. Future version will hopefully fix this, in the meantime please move it back to phone memory if possible.

For those of you worried about app permissions: there is a detailed explanation in the FAQ section of the website.

A few people have asked about a donate option - there is one (via PayPal), it's hidden in the "About" screen.

You won't be disappointed! I've needed an app like this one for a long time to have records for legal matters. Never worry about losing your data again! It is virtually effortless to use! You download and it does the rest for you. Be sure to leave it on your phone and NOT move it to your SD card. If you move the app to SD card, it doesn't back up your call logs to your calendar or your MMS messages. Otherwise, flawless performance!

brilliantly useful my advice: before you start, create a new calendar call "phone call log" using web interface, as it can take five minutes for your phone to know about it, so that can be happening in the background whilst you're installing the app and letting it do the SMS backup. So then install the app and kick off the sms backup. When that's finished, go back to your on-device calendar and enable sync'ing with the phone call log calendar. Then back in the app enable calendar sync'ing and choose the new calendar. New calls will then appear in the calendar.

Totally Satisfied... ...At least thus far. I have always liked saving my txt msgs from all my cell phones. Older models it was very difficult & I sometimes had to go to great lengths using extreme measures to keep my txts recorded. They help me remember my days like a journal would (which I don't have time to do). The only thing I wish for this app is that it would remember where it left off saving if it has to be interrupted & that it would give the option to delete the data on ur phone that it has already exported. Thx!!!

It doesn't work with the Boat Browser Lots of people have reported XOAuth errors using SMS Backup +. I started thinking about it and realized that the phone's browser my be corrupting the security token. Sure enough: when I de-installed the Boat browser and re-installed SMS Backup + and it worked again. As soon as I installed the Boat browser, SMS Backup + stops working. I had hoped that once you granted access using the stock browser you could install the Boat browser and SMS Backup + would continue to work... so such luck.

Brilliant app Very easy to use, create another Calendar in google for your phone logs to back up, it's a great reference and business tool always load this app to all phones makes my life so much easier and if you have your contacts set up in your phone correctly even better. After many trials and errors... Ok everybody I finally figured out how to get it to work with ICS on my phone. If you don't already have miren browser download it. Then go to the sms plus app and press backup. once it takes you to the "grant access" page in the phone's native browser, copy the url. Immediately go to the miren browser and paste the url there. It will allow u to grant access. It took a while to back up the 3000 messages I have had on my phone since June 14th but they are now in my gmail where they belong!
