Smart Measure Pro (v. 2.4.0) Разработано Android Boy |
Smart Measure Pro is the 2nd set of Smart Tools collection (distance, height, width, area).
This range-finder(telemeter) measures the Distance, Height, Width and Area of a target with your phone by trigonometry.
Are you ready to measure? Just stand up and press the shutter. The important point is aiming the camera at the GROUND, NOT the object. (i.e. In order to measure the distance from someone, aim at his shoes.)
If it is inaccurate, please read the instructions in this app or see the checklist diagram in the blog. The sensors on your phone can be changed according to OS version, firmware and battery status.
You can calibrate them with the calibrate menu and settings for yourself.
* Pro version added Features:
- Width and Area can be measured
- Quick Shutter
- Portrait mode
- Camera Zoom
- Virtual Horizon
- No ads
* Now, 3 tools for distance were completed.
1) Smart Ruler (short, by touch) : 1-50cm
2) Smart Measure (medium, trigonometry) : 1-50m
3) Smart Distance (long, perspective) : 10m-1km
* Do you want more tools?
Get [Smart Tools] package.
For more information, see the manual, Youtube video and the blog. Thank you.

[2013-01-08] A Google User: Indoor only app for Xperia This app works great IF: IF you want to measure less than 100ft. Forget distance to tee or across the street. How the adds show measuring tall building is beyond me since you can't get that far away. IF you have entered the EXACT height you hold the phone. IF the point you are measuring to is EXACTLY level with your feet or you can enter the EXACT difference. Other than that it seems to work well. |
|
[2013-01-06] A Google User: Completely inaccurate It thought something next to me was 20ft away |

[2012-04-23] A Google User: Awesome on HTC EVO 3D;) Hold it Right Get it Right Super Accurate once calibrated correctly. Great App and a Definite Recommendation for Measuring Stuff. Will be most useful for measuring area of a house, etc in Real Estate or other basic measurements. If you are patient enough in the initial setup of the app trust me, you are gonna have a ball. This app should not go to waste. For some reason with the calibration set at 75% I get very accurate results.(have requested developer who is really quick in responding to update the calibration in future) The phone height is at its default 4.9 and I hold the phone between chin and collar bone level(I am 5'5") I used the tile flooring(1x1 foot tiles) in my house as a marker to calibrate the phone to get the accuracy for the length and width right and the rest is history. You could use a predefined area with a measuring tape as your marker with marker points at each foot/meter for calibration part and calibrate your phone and check accuracy and remember the settings (in case someone fidgets with it) so later you can be at ease that you have a pretty accurate app when you need anything to be measured in the course of your daily living. Cheers Sorry for the Long Post but hope it's helpful |

[2011-05-05] A Google User: Xoom works great Ver 2.1.1 now works well on the Xoom tablet. Hint: prepare a string with a loop at each end of a reasonable length. Loop one end around your tablet or phone and the other around your shoe to maintain a known fixed height. Carefully measure the distance from the camera lens to the ground and enter this measurement into the app. Your results will be much more accurate and consistant. The result will only be accurate if performed on reasonably level ground. Great app! |
