SLW Storage Widget (v. 1.5) Разработано Christian Schneider |
A (s)imple, (l)ight(w)eight, storage widget. It displays free storage space available on SD card on the left and free internal memory on the right. No configuration needed. It just works once you put it on your homescreen. No ads. 100% fat free. Only 20 KB small so it won't eat up your device storage space. It updates only once per minute to extend your battery life. You can force a refresh if you don't want to wait by pressing the widget. (It is also a button). This is a widget so you need to drop it on your homescreen it is not an app.
If you like more of those simple, lightweight widgets which only ask you for the permissions they realy need and don't fill up you phone with Megabytes of data even if they need to do only a small job then check the other SLW widgets:
-SLW Cpu Widget
-SLW Gps Widget
-SLW Battery Widget
-SLW Wlan Scan Widget
-SLW Storage Widget
-SLW Traffic Meter Widget
-SLW Cache Cleaner Widget
-SLW Audio Volume Widget
-SLW App History Widget

[2013-11-09] A Google User: Does what it says ...but I can't help but feel disappointed, it doesn't show the external sd which I'm more interested in than the phone memory. All three and it would be a perfect widget. |
[2013-10-08] A Google User: I have always loved it... ... and would even pay for it. But now I need to have the option to set it to read from /mnt/extsdcard; since now on my galaxy s3 the sdcard directory is what shows up as both internal phone storage and the sdcard storage. Perhaps making a second version available to those who need it could keep the code requirements minimal. |

[2013-09-20] A Google User: Doesn't work Xperia Z1 |
[2013-08-17] A Google User: Was great, stopped working. Christian Schneider makes beautiful functional widgets, but perhaps this has a problem coping with Aussie 4G? Hope it can be fixed. |
[2013-08-03] A Google User: Would love for this to work. But it doesnt. Displays wrong info. Regards, Note 2 user. |
[2013-06-14] A Google User: Simple and it works! Did exactly what I needed, only an option for phone only indicator would be great (for nexus devices without microsd, as the info is mirrored/redundant). Thanks again for a great widget! |
[2013-03-28] A Google User: Nice Nice widget. Small, simple, provides the information it should. Maybe one day it could have the ability to show sd-ext partition.... |
[2013-02-10] A Google User: Crap Fc in 30 seconds? |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: Not accurate I've just uninstalled this as it kept showing I have 19 or 20 mbs free on my phone, while the settings/applications shows 26. |
[2013-01-16] A Google User: Clean and excellent Does wat it says. Hats off to the dev |
[2012-12-21] A Google User: Brilliant Love this widget, and it's free, I would pay for this widget |
[2012-12-01] A Google User: Like it, need third reading. I would gladly give this app 5 stars if it could tell me how much free space was available on my actual card, not in app storage. Droid RAZR, shows Phone storage and Phone app space. Please give us the option to set which roots to check! Thanks! |
[2012-11-30] A Google User: Meh... On the Samsung Galaxy S III it only shows internal phone Storage on both icons. Doesn't see external SD card - other than that it works just fine. |
[2012-11-26] A Google User: Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 -> Internal Partitions Most Android devices I've encountered partition their internal flash memory into three data stores - #1 is for OS factory recovery (about 1.3 GB on the GP4.2); #2 is the OS working area, it includes apps and most program data (about 2 GB); #3 is for user data such as media (about 4.7 GB). On the Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2, this widget gives you information for the internal OS working area (#2) and the user data partition (#3) at /mnt/sdcard. -1 star for only displaying internal storage; to regain this star, add a third display (possibly requiring an optional size increase to 2x1) which can be user-configured for the MicroSD mount point (different device manufacturers mount it in different places: /mnt/sdcard/external_sd or /Removable_Storage are real-world examples). -1 star for having a hard-coded refresh interval; to regain this star, provide options for refresh duration (I'd appreciate a 1 hour refresh) and/or manual refresh. |
