“…Best keyboard around. A must have for the Android. It is the best app that I've bought” - SlideIT user review
“Can I just say THANK YOU, a million times, I love this app and you saved me big time. I just switched from droid2 to droidx2 after 1 day, swype malfunctioned, and vz wireless tech support led me to you. He said it was way better anyhow, and he was right, customizable and all! Omg, IM in heaven O:-)” - User testemonial

[2012-03-21] rick: Constant forceclose Was a great keyboard but since I updated to the latest gingerbread version on my galaxy note, constant force close issues. PLEASE FIX |
[2012-03-21] V: Excellent! The best! Made my typing super fast. Never tried the swype though |
[2012-03-21] Nelson: Easy as pie Just swipe the keys which spell a word. It's a lot faster than typing. I can snap, er, swipe out a text on nothing flat |
[2012-03-21] Lin: Good app It's a good app but I prefer SwiftKey. The keyboard for this types too slowly for my taste |
[2012-03-21] Billy: Not very good Was not accurate as far as swiping. I tried it for a few days and found other keyboards were much quicker to learn my habits. The customization is the only reason I gave it 2 stars |
[2012-03-21] Chris: Awesome Best android app saves me a huge amount of typing time. |
[2012-03-21] chualekkwan: Feedback Good app , fast and responsive. However, it will be nice if the developers can include chinese in the language packs .;) |
[2012-03-20] Anastacia: The best Way better than any other swipe keyboard! |
[2012-03-20] Debra: Slideit keyboard I think it might be o.k. |
[2012-03-20] Nataliya: Best keyboard ever Love it! |
[2012-03-20] DpAk: Good but Certain bugs still not resolved Bug -The word repeats twice sometimes when selected from suggestion list. |
[2012-03-20] Rachel: Privacy threat. Why do you need to know my imei? Too invasive, especially for a paid app. |
[2012-03-20] soccerdad1: Pretty good Only complaint is that you can't make an all caps word |
[2012-03-19] Marc: Molt bona El diccionari català és impecable, permet escriure realment ràpid. Sembla màgia! Un altre punt a favor són els múltiples temes. |
[2012-03-19] Maners: Autocorrect Inaccurate / annoying autocorrect especially when working with multiple languages. Need to remember to switch dictionary when typing in a different language as the invasive autocorrect will prevent you from typing anything successfully. Swiftkey X is much better at that and handles multiple languages nicely and even though it lacks swiping I am able to type much faster?. |
[2012-03-19] Kally: Best slider |
[2012-03-19] Sheila: I would like to see it have better predictive functioning. Otherwise it is great. |
[2012-03-18] TaeBox: kinda bad ok if you cant get swype i guess |
[2012-03-18] Deborah: Fun Just learning... Fun |
[2012-03-18] Tasha: Ok The auto correct sucks, the perfect keyboard is way better, dose not have slide but you can type so fast and it auto corrects every word, this is crap |
[2012-03-18] Anonymous: Worth 70 times the price! Tried it and now can't do without it. The latest update is even better! |
[2012-03-18] M.a.S.e: sg2. Latest update killed it Latest update killed it.5 seconds delay before the keyboard pull up.... Ugh..... No word from support |
[2012-03-17] Barzan: . sux |
[2012-03-17] omar: fix where the update, ics keyboard is better than this , when update coming |
[2012-03-17] Michaël: Good keyboard It's a good keyboard if you really like the sliding part. It sadly isn't that accurate like Swiftkey .I switched to Swiftkey. |
[2012-03-16] Justin: Needs update I love this keyboard by far the best slide keyboard on the market however we need an update!! |
[2012-03-16] nickname: another one of okay keyboard Just, bought,it ( when its on offer ) then after so many uncomfortable autocorrect thats drive me crazy. i rather stick with my swype.. |
[2012-03-16] Jack: Need Chinese support When will this have Chinese language support? |
[2012-03-16] Taz: It would be great if it didn't autocorrect! The keyboard has some great features, but you can't turn off the over-aggressive autocorrect! When you want to change an autocorrect word, hitting backspace will delete the whole word. It became a royal pain after a short while. |
[2012-03-16] Svendgard.: Better than Nothing. Until I down loaded this app, its spared my life from a ton gay stuff. If had the choice I'd buy two... Butt needs work I still find myself doing alloy alot of thumbing... |
[2012-03-15] Nathan: Nice! Better than I expected. I tried alot of keypads, and stuck with this one. |
[2012-03-15] Kristen Valde: great keyboard this is amazing if you want to text using only your thumb like in the old days. It would be cool if you guys could implement an algorithm similar to the one swiftkey uses so the keyboard learns how you trace slide patterns. It would make it even more efficient |
[2012-03-15] Brian: Are you kidding? i keep getting a failed license check! wtf? stop it! i bought this app and YOU WONT LET ME USE IT!!! |
[2012-03-15] JC: Eh . . Not as good as Swype. Kinda disappointed. Needs some improvements. And what's up with all the unnecessary words? |
[2012-03-15] Csongi: Good app There is still a bug: When write with locked shift (caps lock) and want to change back to small letters, the button doesn't react. Only after hitting space. And sometimes I can't see what I'm writing in the bracket, as if the letters were white... (HTC desire, miui 2.3.7) |
[2012-03-15] Brian: Poor at best I don't understand the high reviews for this keyboard. The prediction is terrible ... suggesting words that are not actually words! Slow and lags when opening. Don't even bother actually typing a word...the trouble is not worth it. Stick with Swype or TouchPal. |
[2012-03-15] Ana O: Useful Great keyboard. Just PLEASE work on Slovenian language pack which is awful. |
[2012-03-15] anotherU: Okish but needs a lot of improvement. I can compare it with Swype only. It is definitely inferior to Swype. Misses an gets wrong a shitload of words. Has no clue about predicting what word comes next in sentence. Needs more work. And all this for English. Romanian is almost unusable. Sorry devs but it got that frustrating to use it and led me to this negative review. |
[2012-03-14] klaxian: Not as good as Swype This app has potential, but Swype is much more accurate for me and seems more polished. |
[2012-03-14] Thylle: Better than Swype Would like bigger buttons.. :) and "." when double tapping space. - galaxy nexus |
[2012-03-14] Zoltán: Lots of small issues In general nice features, but I expect a keyboard to allow me to type anything. Pretty nice when it can guess what you want. But you need to really fight with this one, if you want to type exceptions, like use lowercase after a dot or correct a word starting from the middle. Not to mention, inserting a smiley in chat is 4 keypresses... Built in keyboard is just better. |
[2012-03-13] linuxjunkie: Great. Only missing one option. I might also not be seeing the option.. A dedicated Number Row. I would like to be able to have a number row above the keyboard. On a tablet there is more than enough room and it would be great not having to switch between number/letters or hold down for number. Just being picky wanting a dedicated number row. |
[2012-03-13] Ray: Takes some getting used to. Worth it though. Besides a few minor gripes this has become my primary keyboard when I'm not using any terminal / rdp apps. Taking notes in meetings is feasible now without my crap bt kb. Well worth the money. |
[2012-03-13] Middle9: Keeps forgetting words I've had this over a year and somehow after charging it over night my dictionary has lost at least 30 words so far I have counted. |
[2012-03-13] liveTexas: Tried Them All ... This really is a stellar keyboard. Fast, efficient and Simple. Singe is for teens, Swipe is good but not fast, Asus's native keyboard is Super good , but This stomps them All! |
[2012-03-12] Dante: The best Tried a bunch of swipe texting apps and keep coming back to this one, its the best one out there. Fantastic predictions and always gets the word right |
[2012-03-12] Matthew: Not bad I like some of the skins. Default skin is ugly though. Would like option of removing ABD/SlideIT bar. Or option of choosing keyboard sound. A bug: sometimes when i hold backspace key, it does nothing. Deleting entries or words takes forever due to that. Otherwise a great app. Thanks. |
[2012-03-12] Joe R: I've tried many, this is the best I have tried many keyboards on both my Droid (original) phone and Asus Transformer tablet. This is the best. Didn't care for SwiftKey, I liked the TouchPal interface, but SlideIt was much more accurate resulting in fewer corrections. |
[2012-03-11] Megan: Swype is better. If you don't have it, go download the beta and see. |
[2012-03-11] Lynn: No......not much better than Swype, with slide it, I constantly have to check for all of the misspellings because there are so many. I do like the different colored boards though, but anyway Swype hardly ever makes any mistakes no matter how wild my fingers get! |
[2012-03-11] Bucho: Best keyboard on android Could be a bit more accurate, please can you make a doodle skin for the keyboard |
[2012-03-11] Wayne: Sweet Great little app, makes typing anything so much quicker, great if like me your fingers seem to hit every button but the one you want. |
[2012-03-11] Jeff: HTC desire Pretty good, some nice skins |
[2012-03-11] Ricardo: Plus and minuses (If english is the only language you need I much prefer the swype keyboard.) Slideit pluses: Many languages Many skins I found the voice input to be better than swype in that it offers you several options to choose from. Minuses: Not as accurate as swype Not as responsive either (the tactile response lacks. Sometimes it doesn't seem to recognize a finger is sliding) I always end up going back to swype except if I'm texting someone in another language. |
[2012-03-11] Canaith: This is a game changer This totally changes there wayi use my phone. Between this and voice I will never have to type again! |
[2012-03-10] Ryan: Okay, but could be better. I have been using this app for 3 months now and switched to swiftkey today. Here are the issues with SlideIT: 1. Capitalization issues such as you are unable to capitalize 'D' in McDonald or anything lower case after a period. 2. Spacing before and after single letter words must be manual. 3. No arrow keys to move the cursor. 4. Slow response at times. 5. No predictive words when swiping. |
[2012-03-10] Sare: I LOVE this keyboard having tried both Swype & Touchpal before it. Devs quick to respond when I had a prob (Market fault not app). Highly recommend. |
[2012-03-10] orthland: Worst! This is the worst piece of crap... I hate it so much, the free one was a lot better. I wish there was some other version. |
[2012-03-10] Violet: Love the way it works. I have tried the go keyboard an couldn't get more than two words it would spell right or not change on me. With this app I have been using it for less than two hours but have only had few words spelt wrong but at least the correct words were in the choice list. Will give it a while of use an review again. But so far love it! It feels right using. |
[2012-03-10] R: Best keyboard Try the free version and you'll be hooked. Well worth the price! Easy to add and remove words from dictionary, easy to add new languages. Great! |
[2012-03-09] Goldie: Problem wit app... Still forceclosing plz fix i wish i can get my 99¢ i paid for it back....Samung Galaxy S2! |
[2012-03-09] Jack Archer: Like it. Would be nice if the space bar would make a period when you double tap it. |
[2012-03-09] Krishna: Not good enough Not good for bahasa Indonesia better the default android keyboard. The dictionary is very limited. I only use for a few days than back to the origin keyboard. |
[2012-03-09] Dave: Awesome app!!! I have it installed on my Acer Iconia tablet and it works like a charm! Worth every penny of $6 and I wouldn't be without it now nn great job guys! |
[2012-03-09] S: Better Than Swype! Changed phones and lost my Swype, so got this as replacement on new phone. This is even better than Swype! I love it and so far, no problems. Good work! |
[2012-03-09] Frank: Great app. Well worth the cost, especially for the seamless multilanguage support. |
[2012-03-09] ثورة: Best keyboard Really its great indriot keyboard, its best keyboard with great tools, and magic correction |
[2012-03-09] david : great swype alternative! Galaxy nexus with ICS. Swype is not supported. This is as good or better, worth every penny. |
[2012-03-09] Lora: Love it! This is a great keyboard app and I have tried many. Def the best for me! |
[2012-03-09] Jessica: HTC Rezound My keyboard takes a long time to pull up. I have the HTC Rezound. |
[2012-03-08] Cristos: Garbage This sucks! Both swype and this app! Your lucky you even get one star! |
[2012-03-08] TJ: I would like to rate higher I don't care for the fact the words offered for spell check aren't words. If it is not the right word that's swyped you have to delete one letter at a time. When it is the correct word its great. I didn't contact developer. |
[2012-03-08] Angela: Love it! |
[2012-03-08] Karim: Okay |
[2012-03-08] Brock: junk keyboard this keyboard its terrible there are better keyboards out there sywpe is much better. glad I only paid 49 cents for this! |
[2012-03-08] Jarrett: So So... Needs some work. Dont know what bass ackwards moron programmed the dictionary. It doeant know anything! I mostly use the ABC function not the SwypeIt. |
[2012-03-08] Dan: Atrix Much better than standard texting |
[2012-03-08] LadyBiz: can't enter text Some chat programs I cannot enter text...the enter button doesn't work evo 3d |
[2012-03-07] Виталий: Some mistakes Sometimes English or Russian keyboards give strange symbols on letters a, u, i and so on. It adds diacritical points to them. |
[2012-03-07] Rafa: Good, unless you have swype This is not half bad. The dictionary for almost every language other than English blows, but after you spend a ton of time adding words, it's pretty functional. Unless you have swype (comes with GS2). This does not compare to swype. |
[2012-03-07] Jim: The BEST. I tried all...slide is like having láser guided artillery with 99% kill rate and all you do is press a few buttons and relax...unless you're in a motivated mindset in which you just speak what you want and it transcribes it to text for you and you're off to the next task... |
[2012-03-07] Elliot: 99 cent fire sale so no big deal I bought this knowing about Swype but being too lazy to get it. After using Swype I can say beyond a doubt that Swype is better. |
[2012-03-07] Nero: Please add Hinglish language I want hinglish langyage as well as hindi in slide it keyboard. Please add it to laguages. You can refer xperia mini prp stock keyboard with gesture input for hinglish laguage |
[2012-03-07] Simon: SlideIT is really quite terrible. Swype is much better. Glad I only paid 10 cents for this. |
[2012-03-07] earlwallace: earlwallace This is the best keyboard app I have used on my droidx. I just wish I could get the "swype" function to work on my WonderMedia 8650. The keyboard's animated keys that push in is great for a slow low end tablet. |
[2012-03-06] Marcela: Almost great I said almost bc from unknown reason I have to keep this app open to be able use its keyboard. It didn't do it before. Please, fix this bug and I'll give you five stars. Thank you. |
[2012-03-06] Joe: Love One of the best apps I have had in a while |
[2012-03-06] Steven: outstanding Much better than any other slide keyboard I have used |
[2012-03-06] Igor: My best Android productivity upgrade |
[2012-03-06] Spoon: Ahhhhhh.... Its like swype... And I paid for this? |
[2012-03-06] Jake: Awesome I love it. It is a lot better then the keyboard that came with the phone |
[2012-03-06] Alsatia: love all the skins and opens quickly, but un-intuituve. |
[2012-03-06] Dazza: Great App. A must to have. Fantastic app and great to use. Awesome support for this app. A must have app for Android. |
[2012-03-06] Zarunil: Excellent except... ... You need to fix the bug where we have to manually hit space after "a" and "I". It gets very annoying after a while. Otherwise the best keyboard I've tried! |
[2012-03-06] Emil: Pretty great, BUT why is there no further development/updates ? There are bugs that need to be fixed which i have already emailed the developers about, months ago. Also, the dictionaries contain a lot of unnecessary words to start with. I keep finding words to delete which dont make sense at all. |
[2012-03-06] Rodd [4:20]: I like it but has some issues. Why does the app has to capitalize every first letter even I don't want it to. Line spacing seems to put a space between letters as well. Wish there was a period button for sentences. |
[2012-03-05] Wendy: Nice keyboard I like the keyboard, would be better if you could add arrows to the main screen, however. Thanks! |
[2012-03-05] Dave: I tried the free version and knew that I'd have to purchase it, so I did. It happened to be on sale whenever I did, so that was an added bonus. |
[2012-03-05] Ben: Good but needs predictive I really like this app, but it really needs predictive capability like swiftkey. For me swiftkey is still the fastest way to type as it predicts your current word and then each subsequent one. |
[2011-03-16] Travis: Love this app! Some phones come with it but desire did not... Works great! |
