A convenient way to switch between user defined audio profiles on your android phones.

#NOTICE#
Official/Stock Android 4.0(ICS) links volumes of phone rings and notifications. Profiles like 'Phone only' will NOT work. (Will work fine on CM9, or some other customized ics)

FEATURES:
* Create and manage your audio profiles. (Support adding, editing, deleting profiles)
* A simple but good-looking home-screen WIDGET for displaying current profile and quick profile switching
* A STATUS-BAR ICON which indicates the current profile and provides profile switching function. (If your find this icon annoying, you can always turn it off in the options menu!)
* NEW: Home-Screen SHORTCUT, switch to a profile just by one touch!

To those who thought their alarms are muted by this app:
If your alarm apps are affected by Simple Sound Profile Widget, It means that your alarm apps are playing alarm ringtones in Phone/Notification/Media channel, which means they are not well designed to follow Android's standards. So, if you encountered this problem, just switch to another alarm app.

To those who thought the icon in the status bar is annoying:
You can turn the icon off in the options.

Fantastic This is the first app I will always install on a new Android phone. Simple and immediate, works perfectly on my S3 as well as on my N7. Just one thing: could it be possible to change the Android color on the notification icon? I themed my phone blue...!

Fixed my silent but phones not on silent problem I had downloaded this and uninstalled it again but it's messed up my sound and I had to reinstall so my phone would go on silient I may need to factory reset my phone to get it to work with out this app thanks very much for messing my phones sound profile it doesn't go on Silent still makes sounds with this app

Great Work! Almost perfect (for my purpose)! Ringtones cannot be set based on events/rules, but I don't need that since my schedule fluctuates. Things I like: - the notifcation: good-looking icons with a smooth animation makes it fit into the Android theme seamlessly. - GUI: simple and intuitive - Crashes: It rarely happens. It only crashed on me once playing around with it for 1 hour. - Widget: Looks good and changes appearance when profile changes. - Fee: It's free! It has a small advertisement in the app, but what more can you expect? Things I would like to see added: - Widget/Notification Icons: An option for the user to pick icon from app's existing icons, instead of automatically deciding based on volume/vibration. The automatic feature is nice, too, but I prefer icon customization. The reason is that the widget/notification icon for my customized profile isn't quite relevant to the intended use, which makes it less intuitive when interpreting it. - Widget Modes: It might be a nice option to have single 1x1 widgets that act as a button that require one touch to activate (instead of clicking into the widget which pops up a list menu of profile modes). Great work!

No frills but reliable I have tried several other profile apps and the more bells and whistles they have, the more complicated and frustrating they can be. This app keeps it simple and works like a charm.

Currently doesn't work for me, looking for fix I have OS 4.0 and I can see that this app can trigger changes in my native OS sound profiles because the icon switches from silent to vibe to sound but it's not actually changing any of the ring tones. So sound mode works but the ringtones are wrong and silent and vibrate don't work properly at all.

Htc evo design 4g Loved it when it worked, but now unable to set individual volume levels for ringers. What happened?

Used to be great I had this on my HTC Inspire and it worked flawlessly. Not so much on my new One X. If you put the ringer full and notification half, the ring will actually be half. After setting you can check by manually pressing volume up button and it's half way. Also, vibrate doesn't work.

2x2???? I love your app, but why in the world did you remove the 1x1 widget??? 5 star rating if that were to come back! Otherwise I have to install an older version to add a 1x1 widget then I upgrade to the newest version (in the case the 1x1 widget placed on the home screen from the previous version seems to remain without an issue, even though it is not available through the newer version, hehe).

Better Than Samsung The Samsung Aviator has a bug that causes the "Vibrate in Silent Mode" setting to reset to "Vibrate Always". I used this app to overpower the built-in vibrate settings, and now it works great!

Jmac Worked good for a while, but now make a noise even when I have it on meeting, or phone only. Will try to uninstall and reinstall to see if that helps.

Not Working With LG Lucid I thought I had found the answer to the lack of sound profiles on my LG Lucid with this program. But unfortunately, the app does not work correctly with my phone. My phone still vibrates for texts and calls regardless of whether I have vibrate selected in the sound profile setting. Which is a shame, because I really wanted the app to match my old Blackberry profiles, such as "phone calls only," that I was so dependent on. The app seems to work great for folks with other brands of phones, though.

Incoming email vibrate? When using the "Meeting" profile, how can this be configured so that incoming gmail vibrates the phone? It doesn't do anything.

Great App This app is awesome since the default Droid sound settings take too long to make simple switches, like to Vibrate All. However, there is no difference between Normal and loud on here. And the Meeting setting doesn't vibrate like it's supposed to. That was easily fixed by adding Custom Profiles in here though. I love this app! It's the best Sound Widget in the market.

Beeps like crazy installed the app and seemed to work well for a while. Now when I change sound profile my Galaxy S III beeps for a few seconds. then I was watching a video on vimeo. go to adjust sound volume on device and it won't stop beeping until I change to silent profile.

Simply brilliant! I work in a loud environment so to be able to change between custom ultra-loud tones and quieter tones in a few simple steps is awesome! Can't do that on an iPhone either ....... amateurs! ;)

Exactly what I was looking for Simple and clean, does just what it says. Addition of widget makes it even better. Add a scheduler to change profiles automatically and this will be best volume profile app out there!

Excellent Does what it needs to do: allows user-defined sound profiles with easy switching capability. I don't use it anymore since I've switched to Llama for sound profiles + a whole lot more, but for strictly sound profiles, Simple Sound Profile is excellent.

Nice and Cool but... Very nice! Works and is easy to use. I was looking for a sound profile setup like my blackberry. This has everything BUT message sounds. I can't add sound volume for the text messages I receive with this app. Currently sms messages are different from my notifications. So I have to adjust messages separately. Also nice additions can be the time of day option or to sync with calendar meetings to automatically go to a different profile during meeting time.

useful widget, works great This widget is really easy to set up, and I appreciate the ability to add and rename different sound profiles and customize them with different ringtones. Makes it easy to just tap the widget on my homescreen and change the profile quickly. I wish you could also adjust the vibration patterns for different types of notifications, e.g., creating a profile in which SMS vibrates but e-mails do not.

Very Pactical Widget Using Galaxy Y. Work perfect as expected (very similar to Nokia Profile). 2 comments for improvement: in Meeting Profile, please add single ring / one beep ... vibrate sometime difficult to notice but if the phone beep once or ring once, it can be easily noticed. Secondly, in Meeting Profile, even though I set a different notification tone manually, it plays the notification tone in the Normal / Loud Profile ... please check

Good, but not quite perfect Behaves as designed to set different sound profiles. I eventually uninstalled, though, because all calls get set to one ringtone. So if you have personal ringtones for some contacts, it's overridden by this app.
