Simple Battery is a widget that displays the battery level.
Click the widget, you can set options and show battery information.
If you put the battery percentage in your status bar, check "Show Notification" option.
This application is widget, it can be added to your home screen by long pressing and selecting "Widget" and "Simple Battery".
