[2013-09-24] A Google User: Galaxy S4 tiny controls Galaxy S4 screen resolution breaks this app. All of the controls are tiny on the screen. Looks/works fine on a Galaxy Nexus. |
[2013-09-20] A Google User: Useful |
[2013-09-03] A Google User: Best APP ever! Works perfect! No lag, clean and easy to use. |
[2013-08-11] A Google User: Good Does what It says. |
[2013-08-03] A Google User: Did exactly what I needed No frills app but a great freebie a did what I needed it to do. My only suggestion would be to allow for greater accuracy on the frequency selection. |
[2013-07-09] A Google User: UNITED STATES CONSTITUTIONAL SOUND MIND & BODY TOTAL 4 "DEWAYNE CARLTON THOMAS" & "FRANCES ATTWELL MADISON THOMAS". "MONTHLY TREASURY CHECKS WERE BEING RECEIVED 264 55 4999" "DEWAYNE MET FRANCES. IN JCKSNVL, FLA." |

[2013-06-17] A Google User: Does exactly what it needs to Simple but effective |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: A few simple steps could make the app better It works and does the job,but... It lock the sceen in one position, the sliders are really short and don't adjust to screen, the frequency steps could be smaller, especially for lower area. |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: Does what it says on the tin App functions just fine. It's a bit limited, though. I would appreciate more info like reference benchmarks (eg: middle C), or some sort of visualisation of the signal being generated (eg: spectral analysis or waveform). |
[2013-04-09] A Google User: Superb! Does everything I want. Great app. Very useful for debugging circuits and such. It'd be cool to have more waveforms to choose from but I'm not gunna take a star off for that. |
[2013-03-04] A Google User: Awesome! Great signal generator!!! |
[2013-02-13] A Google User: Sound guy This app is great for tone sweaping speakers, simple yet effective. It moves in steps when you sweap it but whatever, it'sfree. |
[2013-02-07] A Google User: LAB CHECK AND RESULTS DONE WITH MY TEK 200MHz OSCILLOSCOPE, WITH A 100 OHM LOAD ON PHONE OUTS... I AM USING A NEXUS7 32G TABLET. 1. LOVE THE SIMPLICITY. 2. SINE WAVE VERY JITTERY, ESPECIALLY AT HIGH FREQS. 3. NOISES SEEM FINE... Good minimalistic approach, guys, but check out FuncGen (also free). Beats em all. And then, you can get AudioTool, but you pay... Probably good on phones to just generate pink noise into systems...or bother your friends. Keep up the work guys, can be better for us pros. |
[2013-02-02] A Google User: Great for studying I use this when studying in places with loud or annoying music. Put some headphones in, hit "pink noise". Works great. Only annoyance is that it turns your volume all the way up. Would be nice if on leaving the app, it reset your volume to what it was previously. |
[2013-02-01] A Google User: I love it... This is just what i was looking for |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: So So The sine wave is semi accurate, plenty good for audio testing. But, the levels are not accurate. When hooked up to an oscope on my s3, -10db 1 khz signal only produced 150 mV pk when it should be 447 mV pk. This will undoubtedly differ with different phones, but an actual db reading shouldnt be used if it isnt accurate. |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: Doesn't work as described! Sound still stops when screen turned off. White noise has VERY noticeable "beat" indicating looping. Poor |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: eh. I really liked this, at first & I still do, but I end up going back to "audio test tone generator" because of it's ability to make really fine adjustments... |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: Life saver I use this app to generate white noise for my three month old daughter when she can't sleep. It calms her down instantly. This is a must have app! |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Light and perfect Does what it is supposed to, perfectly. |

[2012-09-30] A Google User: Great app Do its job, very well . |
[2012-09-29] A Google User: Excellent No more searching. Suggest vertical bars all the way for faster accurate setting (less frustration) and the value windows at top, so fingers (left or right hand) and keyboard don't obstruct the field values. |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: Aaahgghh! Aaahh!!! |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: Nah. Sound doesn't play in the background |
[2012-08-22] A Google User: Great app! The only thing that would make it better is being able to run it in the background. |
[2012-08-14] A Google User: Love it's Sleep like a baby |
[2012-08-06] A Google User: Useless, but fun Likely useless, but fun. Generates the sounds in real time. Maybe it can even be useful. Maybe you can attract - or scare away - your dog with the very high pitch sound it emits. Pink noise can be good for sleeping. Good toy. |
[2012-07-25] A Google User: Another crap app Sure it makes a clean sine wave. Just not at 440hz because you can't type in a value. |
[2012-07-02] A Google User: My favorite oscillator. I have a problem with the UI of most other tone generators. This one is fast and simple, and allows me to scroll through frequencies at the right speed so I can zero in at what I'm looking for. |
[2012-06-28] A Google User: :D Great app, good job |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Best Best signal generator app |
[2012-06-01] A Google User: Accurate Plugged in the the bnc from the phone to the oscilloscope, got a pretty accurate frequency. Though doesn't really work for low frequency, phone hardware limitations. |
[2012-05-27] A Google User: 44.1 Hz ? Can't that drive us mad? |

[2012-04-13] A Google User: Aaron It's great, but I'd like to dial in exact frequencies. Samsung galaxy tablet |
[2012-04-04] A Google User: Volume max and looping It always sets the media volume to maximum. This should never be done! You can also hear that the white noise loops. |
[2012-03-24] A Google User: Mr. Sir Lol I am r2-d7 |
[2012-03-21] A Google User: Works great Works exactly as described. Great for fine-tuning car sound systems. |
[2012-03-01] A Google User: Exactly as it says... Free, easy to use, works every time. I can't dislike that. |
[2012-03-01] A Google User: Super cool! Turn the volume up and irritate your friends with custom R2-D2 sounds! |
[2012-02-07] A Google User: ... DO NOT FORCE MY OUTPUT VOLUME TO MAX. |
[2012-02-05] A Google User: Perfect! Works great! I agree with the comment that the Dev should have a donate version. |
[2012-02-03] A Google User: Nice idea needs work Doesn't go below 20hz and you can't enter the frequency in directly not sure about the upper range yet. |
[2012-01-25] A Google User: Good. The sliders work well, but inputting the frequencies directly into the box is a hit or miss (mostly a miss) |
[2012-01-19] A Google User: Does its job well Good app. Will use to break in speakers. |
[2011-12-26] A Google User: Awesome Does the job well. Especially to ignored those sounds that drive you nuts. You should have a donation version. |

[2011-11-28] A Google User: 4 of 5 Only reason this isn't getting 5 of 5 is that it doesn't work in the background. Awesome app! |
[2011-11-27] A Google User: Love it! Works perfect, no ads! Thanks guys! |
[2011-11-19] A Google User: Works well The generated noise is pretty well full spectrum without any obvious artefacts. Would be nice if it could be backgrounded :-) |
[2011-11-08] A Google User: Great! Works exactly like I was hoping. I use it to set crossovers in car audio. Stopping when screen goes off was the only issue I had. Now fixed! Thanks! |

[2011-10-09] A Google User: Background Please The pink noise is great for setting levels. Helps get all stage monitors set to the same volume. Wish it didn't stop when back light goes off. |

[2011-09-30] A Google User: simple layout The simple layout is what I was looking for, however I'm not getting any audio out from it. Archos 4.3IT. Going to keep it and hope for an update fix soon. |

[2011-09-02] A Google User: Not for audiophiles This is not a sine wave, though. Way too much distortion/aliasing. Also, the noise is not equal volume nor correct sound. |

[2011-08-25] A Google User: Perfect Does what it says... if you can't hear the sine wave it's either too low for your speaker or too high for your ears... try 1kHz and chill out |

[2011-05-09] A Google User: Nice simple audio generator Works well especially when combined with Audalyzer spectrum analyzer for a quick room EQ. I haven't examined the sine wave others have complained about, but the pink and white noice seem quite accurate. Does not allow move to SD card (boo! fix that please!) and sound cuts out when device sleeps, but if you are using Audalyzer to EQ the room, it has a setting to keep it awake so no big problem there. It allows a tone of 20-20k, it would be nice if the upper limit was 22k. I would love to see a sweep added |
