** SAMSUNG GALAXY S & ANDROID 2.2.x **
There is a bug in the Samsung Update which prevents saving the settings file. Because of this, the app cannot remember your Sense login. Unfortunately the only way to fix this is to factory reset your phone. This can be done in Settings > Privacy. Nota bene: if you do not have problems, no need to reset your phone!
