The totally free way to send and receive photos, videos and big files to and from your Android device via the SendSpace service.
- Easily transfer large files to and from your Android device, computer or other recipients.
- Take photos, videos or voice recordings and easily share the file with anyone, including multiple recipients.
- Send files for anyone to download using a web browser on any device.
- Quickly download big files sent to you via SendSpace
- Free! No signup required. Signing up for a free account allows for more file management and storage features.
- Limits: 300MB per file for free users, 5GB for paid users.
Permissions:
- Personal information/Read contacts allows to send a file download notification to the contacts via SMS or email
- Camera, take pictures and videos then send them immediately through the app
- Storage/SD card allows us to save files to the SD Card
- Internet, can't do much without that one nowadays...

[2012-01-17] Tony: False Claim wasted my time with this app. Description says up to 500mb files for free users. I signed up, and tried to upload a 301mb for, and was denied.. .stated filter must be less than 300 mb for free users. |

[2012-01-06] J: File size too big? This app is great: it does what it's designed to do. However, every time i try to download a file the app tells me its too big. I have over 20GBs of storage free. Why can't I download a 2 meg video? Please fix. -Galaxy Player running 2.3.5. |

[2011-12-21] haploide: Used to be 'great'... Until last update; now the app claims erronously that 2,5GB is too little space to store a 100kB pdf... Makes SS useless... ;( |

[2011-12-08] Mike: A very good, very useful app for sharing large files that CANNOT be emailed due to their large size (try sending that 184MB movie clip of your new car/dog/wtv by email!). With SendSpace you would email the recipient just a text msg that would include a hypertext link that would allow the recipient to directly download that large movie clip from your free SendSpace... uhh... space :). Those who say they can't seem to get the app to work are almost certainly trying to transfer files larger than the max. The developer is very approachable and has indicated they are looking to raise the 300MB single file size limit and STILL keep it free. Can't very well beat that :). For right now if you'd like to try using the service for really huge files you can do so by installing a file splitter/joiner on your device and using it in conjunction with SendSpace. Note that I have no ties to the company that made and distributes this app; I just believe in giving credit where it's due, like for this app and a few others I felt warranted marked emphasis in their respective Market reviews. - evolved.72@gmail.com |
