Seco Tools Assistant is a application that covers the basic calculations that is needed on a daly basis in a machine shop. The following types of calculations are included: Milling: - RPM - Cutting speed - Feed speed - Metal removal rate - Average chip thickness Turning: - RPM - Cutting speed - Metal removal rate Drilling: - RPM - Cutting speed - Table feed - Metal removal rate Drilling - Metal removal rate Boring - Cross section area This is the initial release, and more functionality will be added over time.
