[2012-09-24] Haakon: Trouble using bluetooth and local Wi-Fi. I bought a USB-bluetooth just to get bluetooth on my laptop. I have tried to connect several times, but I do not get this to work. On my phone, I always get the message "Not connected". I have paired the cellphone with my computer several times, tried to re-boot the phone and computer but I still get the same error. Therefore I tried to host a network from my cellphone, and connected the PC to that network. To do this, the WI-FI on the cellphone gets deactivated to host the network. Then I get the message on the phone, saying "You must turn on your WI-FI to connect". I want to use this good looking application at my school, but the school won't give other devices access to the Internet. Therefore I can only connect to the network at school, with my computer... In other words - I can't use this application, but I really do want it to work. |

[2011-11-03] Metro Kids: Nice so far Good interface, I like being able to see the slide content on the phone, easy to connect with computer. 10-slide limit makes the beta version only good for testing but if the price is right I'd consider the full version. I'd like to have seen that limitation in the description. Also, AVG tagged the PC software as identity theft threat - may wanna look into that. |
