FOR MOST OF THE PHONES NO ROOTING IS REQUIRED.
IN CASE YOU SEE THE MESSAGE SAYING THAT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO TAKE A SCREENSHOT PLEASE PERFORM THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS:
1. Android Phone: Go to Settings->Applications->Development and make sure that the USB debugging on your Android phone is set to ON.
2. Make sure that you have drivers installed for your phone.
NOTE: If you have not please download them here: http://junefabrics.com/android/download.php
3. Android Phone: Connect you phone to PC with USB cable.
4. PC: Download the http://androidscreenshotapp.com/download-desktop-package/ package.
5. PC: Unzip it.
6. PC: Start install.bat file
That's it! Now you can take screenshots!

Works great except Works great except 2 things: 1. Should have the ability to change save location, should be accessible through the gallery so I don't need a file manager to access it. 2. What would be good is for it to have very low cpu usage, watch for shaking for maybe just a few seconds, if there is no shake ( to get an image), shut down the program. I will run it later when needed. Could you please put these things out in the future update, Thanks!!

Waste of time Apparently it works for my phone. I don't know though, spent 30 minutes trying to get it to work. keeps bring up an instruction screen and no shots are saved, on my card or in my phone. Waste of time sadly, shall look elsewhere.

Nice It works well, it's just the shake feature kinda too sensitive but kinda a bit harder. I've tried to set the shake sensitivity but still must figure out how hard should i shake to take the picture. But nice app though. Works really well.

Does not Work even after doing the online set up. I did everything right, and it worked when phone was hooked up to computer. the next day, while not near the computer, it kept trying to get me to plug it up and redo the set up instructions. program deleted. would not recommend

This App Is Crap!!! I've tried a few that actually work! Un-rooted versions on a un-rooted android! This does take the screenshot and you can edit it, BUT you or at least I can not view the bottom half of the screen capture!!! So what good is that???? I'll stay with the ones that I KNOW actually work!!!

Requires rooting phone Lame as long as it requires you to root your phone the description should at least disclaim this so as not to trick people into wasting their time downloading and installing. Uninstalling for intentional dishonesty. Will try another screenshot app.
