Screebl - Get Your Screen On! (v. 2.7.3) Разработано keyeslabs.com |
Get your Screen on! Screebl is an application that controls your screen based on orientation. It's better than SmartStay and it works on any phone, not just Samsung. Never have the screen turn off again while using your phone, and SAVE BATTERY too. It's possible with Screebl!
Screebl works based on a simple observation: we generally hold our phones or tablets in roughly the same positions when we're using them. Screebl uses the accelerometer in your mobile device to detect how you're holding your phone, and when your device is within a configurable range, the screen is kept on. Move out of that range, and Screebl releases the lock and the screen is allowed to go off. It sounds simple (and it is), but it works amazingly well!
How does Screebl save power? Well, it's simple. On most phones, the screen is the single largest consumer of battery power. With Screebl running you can reduce the average amount of time that your screen is on by only keeping it on when you're ACTUALLY using your phone. The amount of savings can vary significantly by device and usage patterns, but it is not uncommon for users to see savings of 20% or more. See our web site for more details.

[2013-10-11] A Google User: Good app... Would be nice if it were easier to adjust the sensitivity, i just don't get the current way. |
[2013-10-10] A Google User: Works great on my GS4! shuts off when laid flat and stays on when I hold it. Proximity sensor shuts off screen when I put it in my pocket. Works as designed! It's become a must have app on my phone. |
[2013-10-10] A Google User: Great Great |
[2013-10-08] A Google User: Works OK, but still buggy |
[2013-10-04] A Google User: Uses 43% of battery. Kinda defeats the entire purpose of the app |
[2013-10-02] A Google User: G8 G8 |
[2013-09-29] A Google User: Abandoned with bugs I've had the pro version for a few years and it's very unstable. It has no support whatsoever. So I have switched back to lite and it works much better. The way it actually should work. |
[2013-09-16] A Google User: Android phone Got the free version worked great got the paid version doesn't work |
[2013-09-12] A Google User: Works for droid ultra / maxx Update : it's not working anymore. Its keeping my display locked on. Says out of range. Tried using the phone without Screebl. Couldn't do it! Might I suggest you add a notification icon that is invisible? If I disable notifications it ends up getting killed. Thanks! |
[2013-08-28] A Google User: Works excellent Can't use my phone without it now. Nexus 4 |
[2013-08-20] A Google User: Can't end calls This app prevents my screen from waking up during a call preventing me from ending that call. 1 star and uninstall till this is fixed. |
[2013-08-20] A Google User: Nice! Great app |
[2013-08-19] A Google User: No configuration options are present; author seems to be a fraud; crashes I purchased the Screebl Pro version program & installed same from Google Play. However the main screen does not have any configuration options as shown in the author's video. There is no visible way to configure this program. Sent the author an email on May 16, 2013 but have had no response. Tried uninstalling & re-installing from Google Play (which still shows that I have purchased the app), but that doesn't help. I also have a sneaking suspicion that this app (it was either this one or Avast! Mobile, and I'd tend to trust them more than this guy who presents misleading promotional material and doesn't respond to customer email) has also caused my phone to repeatedly generate as many as 22 repetitions of the same text messages (from multiple senders and carriers), caused my phone to not ring on incoming calls (and sometimes not to even display a missed call or waiting voice mail message, and finally, to prevent me from being able to access my phone's settings. HTC One X + |
[2013-08-13] A Google User: Brilliant idea! |
[2013-08-07] A Google User: Massive battery usage Dev won't reply to emails. I want a refund. |
[2013-08-06] A Google User: It has gone haywire Since the 4.3 rollout it went nuts, either it doesn't work at all not recognizing that the device is in use or goes crazy when the phone is not being used and says it's in use. Killed the battery Shame it worked flawlessly on 4.2.2 |
[2013-08-05] A Google User: Awesome An essential app. I use it on every device I have. Well worth the money. |
[2013-07-28] A Google User: Uses too much power Nexus 4 android 4.3 started consuming too much power since the upgrade |
[2013-07-27] A Google User: Great Works perfectly |
[2013-07-26] A Google User: Love it This is the first app I put on my new phone. |
[2013-07-07] A Google User: Initial test fine. Working much better now. Maybe the dev hasn't forgotten us after all. Rating changed to reflect the current version. |
[2013-07-07] A Google User: Does what it says on the tin Works like a treat on S3, no more annoying black outs |
[2013-06-30] A Google User: Stopped working Screebl used to be my favorite app. Then, about 2 weeks ago it simply stopped doing it's job. I removed and reinstalled it. Still non functional. Fix my former favorite app please. |
[2013-06-21] A Google User: Fantastic |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: Great aid in using my phone I turned it off for 2 hour and screen drove me crazy. Will stay on 24/7. |
[2013-06-08] A Google User: I love this app! It just makes sense!!!! |
[2013-06-07] A Google User: Very handy tool. |
[2013-06-04] A Google User: All time most useful app I've been using screebl consistently for at least two years and it works flawlessly across every device and ROM combination I've installed it on. Would buy it again in a heartbeat! |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: Excellent and useful Superb. |
[2013-05-14] A Google User: A must have app!! Once I for this app my phone is soooo much easier to use. Highly recommended! |
[2013-05-14] A Google User: Essential Awesome. Great in combo with Juice Defender and Lux, solving the biggest battery drainers, the screen and 4g cell connection. Especially great for AMOLED screens. Makes my phone easier to use. Screen on when you want it on, off when you want it off! I am using the beta version of Screebl, because this doesn't work properly on 4.1, but I'm OK with that because the beta is great and I just wanted to support the developer! |
[2013-05-03] A Google User: Evo4g lte! Great App! |
[2013-04-03] A Google User: Well... I've had this app the last 3 phones, and it's always worked until now. Incredible 4g lte |
[2013-04-01] A Google User: Does What it says Nice for the car. |
[2013-03-23] A Google User: Disables on-call on-phone screen ear-detect Great product. My phone (HTC EVO 4g LTE) won't let me use any other apps while on the phone, as it detects my finger as being held up against my ear. Screeble disables this when the phone is held in my standard position. It also does save battery life. Suggestions for improvement: (1) label the diagrams not only as 0-90 degrees, but 0 degrees: flat (flat on back, screen up) and 90 degrees (vertical) to avoid questions of coordinate origin (took me a while to figure this out for sure). (2) allow not only an "invert" for lying down but a "rotate" (duplicate sensor angle range, rotated by 90 degrees). When sitting and holding, I hold up a few degrees from flat. When lying with my head propped up, I tilt it a few degrees from vertical towards me. This is more of a duplication or rotation than an inversion. It might also be nice to have a control for this tilted-forward-of-vertical angle so people could configure both for sitting/standing, and separately for lying. Regardless, a great app. I should have downloaded it a long time ago. |
[2013-03-16] A Google User: Works great I've tried a couple different types of products for keeping the screen on and this one just works the most reliably. |
[2013-03-12] A Google User: Good idea, poor execution Great idea, but it lacks proximity sensor integration. Orientation is always out of range in bed even with the most relaxed settings and the inverse range option doesn't help. It's won't lock if you put it down on a pile of clothes at an angle, and you can't put it down on a desk and read. |
[2013-03-11] A Google User: After MONTHS of beta testing ...this supposedly "new" version throws everything back to square one - where are all the power saving improvements & changes tested and tweaked during beta testing? What happened to this jewel? The last change log reffers to v.2.3.0 (works on FroYo) - come on, please!! |
[2013-03-06] A Google User: Great must have. But, just noticed it doesn’t keep my screen on while in a phone call. |
[2013-03-02] A Google User: Battery hog |
[2013-02-23] A Google User: Works great This makes life easy with droid phones & tablets, I use it on all 3 |
[2013-02-19] A Google User: This is outdated If you're having problems with this version, use "Screeble beta". The beta has a bunch of compatibility improvements and will eventually be rolled into this version. However, the beta does NOT have support for the motion sensor option that is in this version, so if this (non beta version) works OK on your tablet/phone, no need to update. |
[2013-02-18] A Google User: Does what I bought it for, mostly Each day, it saves several pushes on my RAZR's cheap power switch. Occasionally, it fails to recognizes that I'm holding it in the active position, and turns the phone until I open the adjustment setting. Then it starts and keeps working for a reasonable time. |
[2013-02-09] A Google User: Couldnt get it to download I have tries half dozen times to download on to my device I just keep getting error at the end of the download Im wondering if there is a way to download to me laptops desktop and drag it through androids file transfer software |
[2013-02-05] A Google User: Works just as expected At first I thought it had a flaw. How about when I leave it stand still on an inclined position? On settings you can find a perfect solution, you just need to enable it as it's not out of the box. I always wanted S3 feature that uses camera to work as advertised but it did not... Just tried this on my new nexus 4 and is just perfect. Totally worth the money |
[2013-02-03] A Google User: Recently battery usage shows this app Is taking up 21% of my resources. Anyone with this issue? |
[2013-02-01] A Google User: If you haven't got it yet, you're missing out. To reinstate what this app does : saves battery, stops the screen going of when your reading, and doesn't cost a penny if you don't want to pay for it. You'll wonder how you used your phone without it afterwards, honestly. Minimal battery usage by the app itself - seems to be no problems, on my Nexus 4 at least. |
[2013-01-29] A Google User: battery drain was good but now it drain more battery than it supposed to.. |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Droid Razr I've been a loyal screebler since 09 but yesterday it stopped working. Developers please fix this! I depend on this app!!! |
[2013-01-15] A Google User: Weak sauce See FAQ on website for battery issue. In my test I see no drain despite what system reports. Dev doesn't reply to emails. |
[2013-01-13] A Google User: Great App This app does exactly as it says. With the phone I have I always had an issue of the screen timing out while I was streaming movies on my phone. There was no option to keep the screen from timing out. This app has resolved that issue. |
[2013-01-12] A Google User: Needs update! Nifty little app, very handy when watching video streaming or reading e-books. However there are alot of bugs to fix and unlike the Beta version this hasn't been updated in more than a year. |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Sudden high battery usage Used this app since day one, but now battery usage is high. Reinstalled, but still high. Had to give up on this app :( |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Good but sometimes not working I bought the pro version.Good. But sometimes it doesn't work. Can not move to SD card. |
[2012-12-23] A Google User: Great app to save your battery Your screen keeps shutting off so you increase the time before it shuts off. Now you can be wasting battery. Let Screebl adjust it for you. |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: Very helpful app if you read a lot on your device Amazing app if u read anything on your phone you dont realize how much this app means to you until it's gone after a full wipe. Would be nice for an update though. I've been noticing some odd behavior in logcat, been meaning to send in some logs. |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: Awesome I've used it for years and it's my constant companion. |
[2012-11-30] A Google User: Please fix Been using this app for years and it's worked perfectly until the jellybean update. After I unlock my phone it takes screebl too long to respond (about 3-4 secs.) and my phone goes back to sleep. Please fix soon. |
[2012-11-21] A Google User: Wonderful program when it works! Wonderful program when it works! Developer is not supporting product any longer it seems. Too bad, what a shame. I think this tool could really catch on if it were supported. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Excellent |
[2012-11-09] A Google User: Stopped working right on N7 |
[2012-11-04] A Google User: I like it Gotta have this one.. I hate the screen timing out when i dont want it to.. This app is great! |
[2012-10-28] A Google User: Another Must Have App! One of the best apps that I have ever purchased. I recommend it to everyone. Does what it says and does it well. |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: Almost perfect.. Works well for the most part, but needs proximity sensor integration. Face down in the passenger car seat sometimes doesn't lock screen because angle of the car seat matches the angle I use the phone normally. |
[2012-10-11] A Google User: Was great All of a sudden just stopped stopped working... |
[2012-09-27] A Google User: Galaxy Nexus Verizon Fantastic App! Has worked on every ROM and kernel, stock and rooted that I have used. Highly recommended! |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Jellybean support? Screebl no longer works |
[2012-09-11] A Google User: Good for Note I717 Works well on my AT&T Galaxy Note with Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean. I don't have to worry about the screen wasting power. |
[2012-09-05] A Google User: Good concept but resource hog I love the idea of this and it certainly works well on my Dell streak. The problem is that the entire phone is significantly slower. This can be reduced by dropping the polling interval but it's still noticeable. As soon as I turn it off the phone springs back into life. |
[2012-09-02] A Google User: Revised Opinion Worth every cent. If you have a problem keeping your screen on this is the app to have. I've used it for so long I had forgotton about this app until I needed to be able to keep the screen on my new Nexus Google tablet on for longer than 30 minutes without having it go to sleep. I thought of this. It is perfection. Setup is easy you merely set your range of motion and it does the rest. It does everything is claims!! I definitely recommend it. |
[2012-08-26] A Google User: Glitchy... Used to love this App but apparently they aren't keeping up with all the new software changes. It is constantly not working properly. Please update... |
[2012-08-22] A Google User: Jelly Bean Was great with ICS and GB. But seems to not work using Jelly Bean. |
[2012-08-21] A Google User: Gs3 issues GS3 does not work really well no longer keeps the screen on. Please fix |
[2012-08-07] A Google User: Battery draining nightmare! This app works but drains the heck out of your battery so i had to uninstall. I installed the Bettersleep app and it works great! |
[2012-08-05] A Google User: Htc one v App no longer senses when phone is in use it is active but screen still shuts off |
[2012-07-28] A Google User: What a little gem! I had it for a while i was so impressed i bought the pro version. Keep up the good work! |
[2012-07-14] A Google User: Love it. The pro version is worth the money. |
[2012-07-06] A Google User: One of the best apps in my drawer. I get annoyed very quickly when I am using a phone without screebl. 5 stars |
[2012-07-05] A Google User: Not being updated. App seems abandoned, have switched to SleepTweak, which works better anyway. |
[2012-06-26] A Google User: Bug@"minimum" time out Good app, everything works nicely. BUT the 'minimum' time out option does not. Hard to turn the screen on aftet a 'time out' event. (I had to push the power button several times with several screen blinking during push.) Pliz fix! GSII |
[2012-06-21] A Google User: I paid for the Pro version to support developer, but unfortunately it doesn't work with Droid Pro. Back to Lite version... |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Best app in market This app is the best in its kind I tried literally every single app that promised to keep the screen on and screebl beat them all. |
[2012-06-14] A Google User: Try again Problems also with install. Does keep the screen on during a phone call. Can't get a refund. Bad experience for me. |
[2012-05-29] A Google User: HTC One X. Been using Screebl for long time. Never failed. Thanks. |
[2012-05-14] A Google User: Great Just needs auto brightness to be perfect. |
[2012-05-08] A Google User: going downhill used to be great, but with no updates from the dev in 1.5 years it really isn't so great anymore. With my latest firmware update it cripples my device with huge battery drain.. 1 hour standby max with it enabled, ~12 hrs w/o. BetterSleep app might be an alternative for some. Goodbye screebl |
[2012-05-07] A Google User: Constantly locks up The application use to be perfect on my Evo 4G but on my Epic 4G Touch it constantly turns my screen off as soon as I turn it on... plus this app is no longer supported.. |
[2012-05-01] A Google User: Love it! Love the fact that you don't have to worry bout your screen wen its on and u forget, as long as its laying flat somewhere itl turn off aoutomaticly. |
[2012-04-10] A Google User: Useful My only problem is that the app won't start monitoring until it detects that the phone was unlocked. The app will bring up the pattern lock when I'm already using the phone just so I can unlock my phone again. |
[2012-04-08] A Google User: Wakelock! After I updated to ICS I've been having trouble with a wakelock! |
[2012-04-06] A Google User: Awesome app How is this not famous? |
[2012-04-05] A Google User: Works 50% of the time Used to work great, now it kinda sucks |
[2012-03-19] A Google User: UPDATE: New beta available! First app I install on any Android phone. Love it. A bit concerned that it hasn't updated on awhile. I'll be very sad when I can't use this anymore. |
[2012-03-16] A Google User: I used to love this app For the most part it still works well for me, but it simply refuses to start at boot despite this option being enabled in preferences. Emails to dev have not been answered. I'm starting to regret buying the pro version; what's the point without developer support? Very disappointed. |
[2012-03-06] A Google User: Awesome Worked great on my s2 running GB. Now have a nexus and its a battery drainer. Please fix, I love this app. I have pd version. |
[2012-03-03] A Google User: Battery drain became too high... Was using this app from the beginning and I was excited. I even bought the PRO version...then, ICS came. For some reason Screebl became one of the biggest battery eater apps on my phone. I even found my phone completely "dead" in the morning several times so I was forced to remove it. Guys, review it and improve it...graphics, ICS compatibility, battery drain...there are only some of the things it needs. |
[2012-03-03] A Google User: Great app. I had been looking for something like this. A must have. |
[2012-02-25] A Google User: Bryan Good. |
[2012-01-15] A Google User: Well...it works most of the time, but for some reason auto deactivates itself. Two emails to the developer and not a peep. So it is hit or miss. |
[2012-01-15] Mike: Well...it works most of the time, but for some reason auto deactivates itself. Two emails to the developer and not a peep. So it is hit or miss. |
