The Machining Calculator from Sandvik Coromant is designed to help engineers and machinists optimize the performance of their turning, milling and drilling applications by calculating optimal cut settings based on job parameters.
To use it is simple, just enter the input values and the results will show at the top.
Parameter descriptions etc are found in Information under More, and your preferences can be changed in Settings. Try Advanced mode for more detailed calculations.

[2011-08-17] redd: Handy, but could use an update. Picking which screen it starts on (milling, turning, etc.) would be the first tweak it needs. Next up would be general user friendliness upgrades. |
