Roam Control allows you to force roaming on your CDMA cell phone.  Supports HTC phones, Samsung phones, and the Nexus 4G on the Sprint network. May also support HTC phones on other networks.  Please do not use with Samsung phones on the US Cellular network.

Now includes a plugin for Locale and Tasker!

Roam Control is useful when you are in an area with a weak signal and your phone does not roam onto a stronger roaming signal.  Putting your phone into a "roam only" mode will make your phone choose the roaming signal, improving the reliability of your phone and improving battery life.

I will honor refund requests within 24 hours since the new market only gives you 15 minutes to try out an app.

Note: Samsung users may not see a signal when in "roam only" in the following areas: most of TX (except for the Houston area), most of FL, the Chicago area, and PR. This app is a joke. It does not help signal on your phone. All it does is change your mobile setting from either home or automatic. You can do that.

Works on EPIC Works great on my Epic with 2.2. I live just on the border of an acceptable sprint signal and my phone was constantly dropping the connection and switching to a Verizon tower and switching back, killing battery life. I've tested and I'm able to send an receive texts with no delay and make and receive calls.

I decided to try this app anyway and it solved all my signal strength issues, don't need the Airave now! Signal strength at home was my biggest gripe with Sprint, now it's no longer an issue! Great app... had trouble with incoming calls in roam but you just have to reboot once or twice after you set, prob solved. Rooted epic 4g stock rom.
