[2013-10-29] A Google User: Below average I just wanted to rename songs, and the app wont let me do that. |
[2013-10-26] A Google User: Brilliant. Here is a really good app. It has function in mind, and it works the same as other command line apps in Windows, Mac and Linux. I cannot see why people squeal about an unfriendly user interface. This is a brilliant app that adds real functionality to an android handset. Be a good chap and stop rating bad, when the app is clearly good. Thanks dev. |
[2013-10-25] A Google User: Non-intuative. Wicked unfriendly to those who have little to no understanding of the Linux CLI (Avoid if this is you). Needs LOTS of work. "Garelly"? Really, Dev? |
[2013-10-13] A Google User: Excellent It does exactly what is meant to do. I've seen some e negative comments due to poor knowledge of regular expressions. |
[2013-09-29] A Google User: No manual, not intuitive app |
[2013-09-16] A Google User: TY Works as advertised. Thank you, makes life much simpler. |
[2013-08-24] A Google User: Wonderful Does what it says Very fast operation But should know how to use it By the way I don't like advertising. But I am using this application |
[2013-08-21] A Google User: Awesome People, at least look at the screenshots to know what you're getting into. Most people using this app were probably using the terminal to do their work, but I my terminal emulator doesn't like the verbose switch :/ So I downloaded this :D |
[2013-08-13] A Google User: awesome app! works great, no bugs spotted so far. id3 tags support would be nice, but still 5/5. |
[2013-06-16] A Google User: Perfect Worked exactly like I wanted! |
[2013-06-03] A Google User: this app is a joke install and use ES File Explorer instead. it has a batch rename function that is user friendly unlike this app that only geeks can understand. |
[2013-05-25] A Google User: Atlast foud the format renamer I was looking for... Changes the format name of a group of files in just one click.... |
[2013-05-24] A Google User: Almost perfect! Great flexible file renamer. This would be perfect for my use if (1) it could be limited to a selected subset of files within a directory; and (2) it had the ability to pinch-zoom, so this old coot could see what he was doing when entering the regexes. |
[2013-04-07] A Google User: Needs minor improvements for 5 stars Great app. Needs minor improvements though. Perhaps allowing the user to have a default and group of favorite folders. Editing, deleting or giving titles to the saved replaces would be nice. Also maybe allowing people to tick a selection of regexpreplaces to do several all at one go. |
[2013-03-07] A Google User: Complicated How do you actually rename the files? |
[2013-02-12] A Google User: re .*( |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Great! Made my life easier |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: this is what i'm talking about took me 5mins to understand, now i can freely use it.. thanks mr. developer |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: How do I rename the Desktop Icons ??..... I really do like the layout and the features but I'm unclear as how to change the name of the desktop icon. For example, my firefox button is named Nightly and has a black globe. How do I add the red and blue firefox globe and change the word Nightly to Firefox ?? If this does not yet exist, can you make this available in a pro version ? Thank you! |
[2012-12-30] A Google User: What I have no idea how to use this :/ |
[2012-12-14] A Google User: Great Alphabet too small / bold |
[2012-11-24] A Google User: HOLY QUICKNESS BATMAN I don't know a thing about android. Had smartphone for 6 whole months. Sheer dumb luck guessing maybe but I renamed 290 files in 3 seconds flat on my first try. Super good job. |
[2012-11-18] A Google User: Does the job This apparently isn't for everyone but if you are familiar with regular expressions it can be very useful and powerful. |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: Really Not user friendly I just need to rename a batch of photos. Not to much to ask for a "renamer app". But here you need to have telepathic powers to guess how. Developer, it have potential, don't be lazy and write a proper help! |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: useless, uninstalling! EDIT gave up on this nonsense. using File Tools instead, not perfect but at least does the deed without having to learn programming first |
[2012-11-03] A Google User: To complicated Downloaded the app and spent a few hours trying to work it out but couldn't work it out. |
[2012-10-26] A Google User: Perfect! Just what I was looking for. All I wanted was to rename my pics 00001.jpg to superbowl00001.jpg. Why all the negitive reviews? It works perfectly! Thank you! |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: good! i love using EXIF data. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Excellent Wonderful app Things that could be done are awesome.. .took about 1 month to "completely" figure out.(and I'm supposed to be a math genius) .but really worth it.. For beginners, just . Is any character.. @ dev, I know you're Japanese.. but atleast put some more examples ..atleast 20 more for faster learning |
[2012-10-10] A Google User: Rename failed. Removed. |
[2012-09-22] A Google User: Works Great. Does what it's supposed to do. Read the instructions first. I have no programmer experience or whatever it is that this app uses, but after playing with the app, reading the help, using common sense and LEARNING i was able to become proficient at using this beast of an app. |
[2012-08-26] A Google User: Gets the job done Just as non user friendly as it claims to be. But at least a proper user guide could be of much help! |
[2012-06-30] A Google User: Brilliant. Just wish I understood more complex expressions. Trying to rename all files named [000700].jpg ranging to [000799].jpg to get rid of the brackets proved awkward for me. I ended up just selecting a '[' then renaming then selecting the ']' and renaming. My own fault for not understanding correct expressions though.Very handy app. |
[2012-06-30] A Google User: Great app |
[2012-06-10] A Google User: just incomprehensible garbage |
[2012-06-02] A Google User: great just what i needed. |
[2012-04-19] A Google User: Very nice :) |
[2012-04-03] A Google User: Doesn't work on ASUS TF101 with ICS Need to rename a load of jpg images, prepending them with a digit or character, used the help, and tried src=^ dst=* checking regular expression, but the replace button won't appear! |
[2012-03-04] A Google User: I don t like it Phorganizer is better. |
[2012-02-29] A Google User: easy to use nice app |
[2012-02-26] A Google User: wtf is this idk how this works help ? |
[2012-02-20] A Google User: Does not work Does not appear to work on ASUS TF201 with ICS. All the ads worked however. |
[2012-02-19] A Google User: Perfect! Does exactly what I want it to. |
[2012-01-11] A Google User: Waste of time Did more harm than good |
[2011-12-31] A Google User: Does what it says. Not very user friendly and there could be more features. Still good though. |
[2011-12-30] A Google User: Not user friendly |
[2011-12-26] A Google User: Just what I needed This app is fantastic, I needed to enable 3gp video files to play through UBS from my phone to the tv, but the tv does not support 3gp files, so in seconds I renamed all my video files from 3gp to mp4 files and now they play on the tv. Briliant. |
[2011-11-21] A Google User: Why???? Why cant you put a mp3 tagger? |
[2011-11-12] A Google User: Very Good! Took some playing. MAKE A TEST DIRECTORY to play with as this can save you a lot of headaches later. Read up on Java Pearl operands on the web help link. May be nice to add a few examples of "how to" for us newbs! Nice work. |
[2011-11-09] A Google User: How do i use it? I want to add a .mp3 tag to some files. How do i do this? Please tell me exactly what to do....instructions are unclear :( |
[2011-09-12] A Google User: Worked fine Not too hard not too simple. |
[2011-08-09] A Google User: Great application to rename our files.. not difficult if we read the instructions carefully. :-) Works well on my Galaxy 5.. |
[2011-04-27] A Google User: App is great. Not as difficult as below comment makes it sound. Love it. |
