Switched over from 2X viewer. It doesn't have the prettiest interface, but it is by far the most responsive and hassle free RDP client on android.

Serious performance issues appart from that almost 100% Controls on the app are practically perfect... but... I'm running tightvncserver and connection to localhost, i noticed a lot of lag esp with larger areas and intially thought this was down to all the mem copies involved running everything over sockets as opposed to say shared memory so I thought I'd look at where the bottle neck is. with screen at about 1900x1080 24bit (native) 1x zoom, locked, running gimp taking up about 50% of the screen space and a process monitor in my local gnu/linux environment (also under xvnc) the cpu usage for gimp is about 15%, xvnc gets to about 30% max but the rdp client is maxing out the cpu often at over 100% (I have 4 cpu transformer infinity).. oddly it's still less laggy than all of the android native drawing apps I've tried!!!! but the bottle neck does well and truly seem to be this rdp client esp as xvnc is doing all the virtual frame buffer work, drawing, vnc protocol stuff etc.... because it's acting as an xserver with in memory frame buffer. (I run xrdp to turn xvnc into rdp, but that wasn't showing much cpu at all)

Works Great @ Cindy... All windows pcs (and i suspect macs do also) have a remote desktop client program already installed, check youtube to see how to use.. Is very easy to use (although not as ez as this app). Windows will pull though sound. This app is good for accessing your pc for quick access (like moving a file to Dropbox or whatnot).

Security lacking Installed this last night to acccess my home computer. It worked great for that. But then the next morrning I had multiple security warnings on my machines about unknown remote connection attempts while I was sleeping. My router logs show many different ip address trying to remote into my machine as well. Never had this problem untill I used this program. Don't trust it at alll.

Great app but reoccuring keyboard issue Started getting a problem with keyboard a few updates ago. When I first install or update and remote to my pc it works fine. If I disconnect and reconnect the keyboard automatically goes to caps and will not let me input lowercase letters even if I click on caps it stays in caps. The workaround for me has been to either update to the new version or uninstall and reinstall everytime I use it or save the credentials in the saved RDP connections.

Nearly there Tried the latest update on my SGS 3 running android 4.1.2. Nearly all fixed, no more black screens but I do get some garbled duplicated squares of image appearing randomly over the image, sometimes clicking near them brings back the proper images other times it doesn't.

Almost my favorite... still has some issues Great resolution options, great response, connects no problem on my Samsung Note II, allows use of devices keyboard and in my case the S-pen. Problems: editing a MS 2007 Word documents in almost impossible, highlighting a word automatically deletes the selection, placing the cursor in the middle of a word automatically breaks the word into two words (these problems don't seem exist in other text editing fields). Arrow key selection does not work, at least not on my device. Can not right click with S-pen, but it seems the "stuck" right click issue has been solved or it just isn't an issue with my device. The "mouse" option from the new doesn't actually do anything. Bottom line, great performance and options, lacking in the control and text editing department.

The best RDP available but, ... I have 4 Galaxy Tab 10.1s and each of these have Remote RDP Lite. These were timing out at 20 minutes and would drop the session completely. Once reconnected the old session was gone and any unsaved files with it. I updated to version 3.8.5 today, but sadly one tab times out at 60 minutes and the other still at 20 minutes. I am going to uninstall the 20 minute timeout tab again and reinstall. There is one major diference between the 2 tablets in that the one that last 20 minutes has Android 4.0 and the 60 minute one is at Android 3.1 I hope this helps
