in conjunction with airbubble and automateit im using an old android phone as an airplay reciever with airbubble installed. It wasnt stable as the phone lost wifi connection and/or fell asleep. This fixed it. Nightly reboot, wifi enable/airbubble/Repgon wifi launched at startup with automateit (free). Works a treat and is a great way to recycle an old android phone....

Works Looks like this app did the trick, I was having trouble with one of those ftp server apps that establish a service on the phone. Well, the server would always disconnect my pc client if the screen were to turn off... But after installing this app. The screen can stay off and the ftp service remains available!

Needs Ooption to reaply on reboot. Apps does it job until you reboot, then you have to set it up again. Uninstalled this app after i realized that if you are on android 2.3 and above you can set the wifi sleep policy on the handset. so this app isnt needed. For Android 2.3 and earlier 1) Navigate to Menu > Settings > Wireless & Networks > Wi-Fi settings> and select the menu button again. 2) You’ll be prompted to either scan or select advanced. Select “Advanced” 3) Select “Wifi sleep policy” , and you will have a couple of options to select from. Choose “Never”. For Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and later: 1) Navigate to Menu > Settings > WiFi and select the menu button again. 2) Select Options, Advanced 3) Set “Keep WiFi on during sleep” to “Always”

This is the only program or setting that works until an ota comes through to fix this bug. Update: upgraded to an asus rt n65u router and my problem went away and so I uninstalled.
