Have you ever been in a meeting, in class, or in the library and your phone starts to ring a little too loud? Does your ringtone need to be censored for certain situations? RD Mute is the app that helps you mute your phone quickly when the situation calls for it. Flip your phone face down to quickly mute your phone without the need to press or hold any buttons. RD Mute cuts out the need to navigate menus and is your shortcut to silent mode.

Jelly bean ? On CM10 (Motorola defy +) put my phone to mute when I'm receiving calls. It rings just once then goes to mute.

Perfect, minor problem Works perfect for sound, but in mode "vibe before ring" is phone vibing for 1sec. Mail or sms notify sounds are disabled as well as phone call.

Good app, but 20% battery usage App works really well on my HTC Desire running Cyanogenmod. Jedi mode is a crowd pleaser at meetings and at work. Running the app over several days, it seems that the app seems to always use 20~25% of my battery life - which is a little high for one single app, my wifi and data connection don't use as much battery. Can this be reduced?

Almost perfect The Jedi mode turns on when the phone is in the belt holster. Otherwise very handy.

Perfect app Haven't tried it yet on my HTC evo, but i had this app on my Samsung Nexus phone and it was awesome. Flip the phone on its face at night and only programmed numbers will ring. Pretty cool feature.

Pretty Good; Not Perfect RD Mute works great most of the time. Occasionally, it lets through an email notification sound even though the phone is face down. If it weren't for that, it'd be perfect. Even with that, it's still better than anything else I've tried.

Battery hog Works well, but not for me. I prefer to use Sanity to manage my calls so my phone almost never rings but my battery drains. The description does suggest enabling "incoming calls only" to go easier on the battery but I don't need it, so I ended up uninstalling.
