QuickSSHd (v. 2.0.3 Supe) Разработано TeslaCoil Software |
QuickSSHd, based on dropbear sshd, allows you to easily configure and run a Secure Shell/SSH Server. Connect to your phone from your PC and execute commands or transfer files. Similar to "Terminal" or "adb shell" but over the network.
File transfer to sdcard by scp or SFTP (Secure FTP, WinSCP, Cyberduck).
Root is optional

[2013-01-11] A Google User: Works, but... It works OK as far as connecting with putty but when I exit the app, the dropbear daemon continues to run. Port 22 stays open and presumably my battery takes a hit as well. |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Works. What more do you want? |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Sits on my JB phone being useless. Since Jellybean update, this app just sits there doing nothing at all. It used to be amazing, which is why I still give it 2 stars. Very sad to see a great app become obsolete. |
[2013-01-04] A Google User: Unmaintained Broken for JB devices. Such a shame, paid for this. |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: Does not work on JB Does NOT work on Nexus 7 and Android 4.2.x |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: UPDATE. It no longer works on 4.2. Perfect! SFTP works great with key pair! This is my new favorite way to manage files b/c GMTP sucks. ;) Love this |
[2012-12-10] A Google User: Stopped working Worked on Galaxy S2. Stopped working on Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 4. |
[2012-12-09] A Google User: Shame on TeslaCoil for abandoning this... Come on TeslaCoil, why abandon this app? no updates in 2 years? Of course it doesn't work on 4.1.1 (and up, I assume). Free up a dev for a half day and make this right. Reward those of use who purchased several of your apps! |
[2012-12-02] A Google User: No JB support Worked fine until upgrade to JB now can't find dropbear PID. Effectively broken. No response from dev. Going to email for refund. |
[2012-11-21] A Google User: No Jelly Bean Please fix for JB 4.2... |
[2012-10-23] A Google User: App may contain malware Out of the blue today, without touching the app for over a month, it requested Superuser Permissions. The only reason it could do this is to start a server for someone to log into. 1 star until update and problem is addressed. |
[2012-10-15] A Google User: Hh Keeps rejecting password |
[2012-10-12] A Google User: Doesn't serve the purpose... Waistage of money...need my money back...please refund asap... |
[2012-10-10] A Google User: Works, but needs an update. For some bizarre reason, it is able to launch the ssh server executable just fine but can't discover it's PID on my Nexus S with Jellybean. The server still runs and works, but to get rid of it I have to pull up a root console and kill it manually, that's not very nice. |
[2012-10-08] A Google User: Doesn't work in jellybean |
[2012-10-08] A Google User: Not working on JB ... Was : Perfect, eventually done crippling my fingers ... on the onscreen keyboard of my mobile ;-) A MUSTHAVE for every tweaker / UNIX enthusiast !! |
[2012-10-07] A Google User: Great app but does not work in CM 10. |
[2012-10-06] A Google User: Once great, but still no JB support I left this one installed to see if there would be Jelly Bean support but still nothing. Would give it zero stars if possible because it just runs on outdated devices. Granted most users still run Android 0.1 or 4.0 or whatever but that is not my fault and no excuse for lazyness. |
[2012-09-28] A Google User: Broken Drop bear can't find its PID, broken in jelly bean. Dev won't email back. Thinking about requesting a refund since it is now useless to me and there is 0 support. |
[2012-09-24] A Google User: not jelly bean compatible |
[2012-09-23] A Google User: works fine Thank you. |
[2012-09-04] A Google User: Does what it says on the tin Everything you expect an SSH daemon for android to be. No complaints |
[2012-09-04] A Google User: Working very well, ICS (4.0.4) on GS3 Needed this badly due to Linux MTP problems. Working very well so far, not fraught with bugs like other similar apps. Simple interface is welcome also. Make sure to read the in app Help for setting up ssh keys if desired. |
[2012-08-26] A Google User: seems to work fine installed quick and easy (no need to root the phone first), set up was also really easy, now able to access the sd card of my phone without plugging it into my computer |
[2012-08-23] A Google User: Broken on Jelly Bean Doesn't even start the daemon on Jelly Bean. |
[2012-08-12] A Google User: doesn't work doesn't work on my samsung galaxy s2 not rooted, author doesn't respond to email. |
[2012-08-12] A Google User: No go on Jellybean Used to work fine, now doesn't work on any of my jellybean devices, and no response from developer |
[2012-08-10] A Google User: Excellent app! Great app. I installed it on my Galaxy S3 and it works flawlessly. I did have to do a Google search to figure out how to set up public/private key authentication. |
[2012-08-09] A Google User: Easy-peasy Don't know if it will work over a cell IP, but works great for transferring files over WiFi. Does not require root, but it will take advantage of it if you have it. |
[2012-08-09] A Google User: Doesn't install dropbear, can't run SSH server It doesn't even install dropbear meaning it's a waste of $1.50. Great |
[2012-08-08] A Google User: Great! Can securely connect and transfer files, even while tethering. |
[2012-08-04] A Google User: Doesn't work with jelly bean Doesn't work with jelly bean |
[2012-08-04] A Google User: works ok, but is seemingly unmaintained There was initially some weirdness in getting this working, however after a reboot, it worked ok for ssh. scp seems to barf on large files with a 'lost connection' error. A bigger concern is the seemingly lack of support or maintenance. The last release was 2 years ago. In that time there have been many ssh exploits requiring updates, yet there haven't been any. Even though I paid for this app, the author doesn't seem to respond to emails at all. I've sent several, and have never gotten a reply. Sad that they're charging money for something that they don't want to support or even maintain. |
[2012-08-01] A Google User: Works but... It acts like it can't see the server on Nexus 7. It doesn't matter how busybox is installed or anything of the sort. Can you look into this and fix it? |
[2012-07-31] A Google User: Nexus 7 4.1.1 Does not work on my new Nexus 7 with Android 4.1.1 |
[2012-07-19] A Google User: Nexus 7 Fails to start dropbear on Nexus 7 |
[2012-07-18] A Google User: waste not telnet and cant remote command prompt |
[2012-07-12] A Google User: Works with Galaxy S3 It might be a old program but it appears to work just fine for sshd (sftp/ssh) needs on the Samsung Galaxy S3. I've been able to ssh and sftp in, transfer files, and set up keys with no problems. I can also access my external sdcard formatted exfat. |
[2012-06-06] A Google User: No update in about 2 years. This software is dead. Used to love it. But no update in over 2 years. No response from the developer. Widget displays a useless IPv6 IP address on ICS devices. Not fixed in months... Time to shift to SSHDroid. |
[2012-05-15] A Google User: way more stable than all android FTP servers Seems like all FTP servers for android are based on apache FTP lib, which isnt stable on my phone. QuickSSHd SFTP is stable. I use to sync folders using the lftp client. Great value, great work. |
[2012-05-02] A Google User: Exactly as advertised. Great app; beats MTP. Combine with sshfs for great results. |
[2012-04-29] A Google User: Not bad Cannot get kde fish protocol to connect but ssh works fine. |
[2012-04-12] A Google User: Awesome Worked perfectly for running an sftp server so I can easily transfer files to and from my phone :) |
[2012-03-15] A Google User: Simple & get the job done A fine little ssh daemon with a simple no-nonsense interface that supports all the features that you could have wanted from one: * public/private key authentication * sftp The only complains that I had is that turning off the daemon doesn't terminate the connection and that the option to refresh the contents on the sdcard doesn't seem to work on ICS . |
[2012-03-03] A Google User: Awesome Awesome! Thanks. A must for me. |
[2012-02-19] A Google User: Great for transferring files Works flawlessly on my Asus Transformer Prime (free SSHDroid wouldn't run on my tablet). I was a bit puzzled at the opening configuration screen as nothing happened after I entered my chosen password until I pressed the button near the top right hand corner of the screen (not intuitive). The online help was good at explaining how to configure my PC for SFTP access. Nice product. |
[2012-01-25] A Google User: Doesn't work on Galaxy Nexus Have emailed the development team. I have a rooted Galaxy Nexus and cannot get ssh working. it shows my IP and port to use but no putty/sftp apps can actually get a connection. |
[2012-01-20] A Google User: Yippee- MTP be damned!! -Galaxy Nexus - Lifesaver! Can I make a resounding happy *sigh* - something finally will help me with my Galaxy Nexus's MTP restriction. Absolutely REQUIRED for the gNexus and Linux. MTP?? what a pain. I wish I'd found this 12Gb ago of painful downloads!!! Lifesaver to say the least. |
[2011-12-30] A Google User: I experience extreme lag... Using a terminal on Linux to connect remotely to the ssh daemon produces huge delays when entering text from remote terminal. I am able to type entire lines before the text actually appears. SSHdroid runs fine. Any ideas? |
[2011-12-16] A Google User: Great App-- Highly recommend Works perfectly. Verizon Galaxy Nexus. I tried the Ad-supported sshdroid and it worked once and then refused connections. Required a re-install each time to start working again. QuickSSHd is $1.50 very well spent. |
[2011-10-21] A Google User: Exactly what it says on the proverbial tin, but SCP would be just awesome! |
[2011-10-17] A Google User: Much easier than fumbling with Terminal Terminal Emulators are great in a pinch, but when I've got the option I much prefer to SSH into my phone and use a real keyboard. Even better is using SCP from my desktop to transfer stuff to/from the SD Card without needing to hook up a USB cable. Combine with ConnectBot for even more options, like reverse port forwarding to get to your phone while not on WiFi. |
[2011-10-06] A Google User: Exactly what I needed I found the "How to connect to device with SSH" on the Cyanogenmod wiki and thought jeez, there's got to be an easier way to get a terminal connection to your phone. Yep, there is, and this is it. |

[2011-09-16] A Google User: Super useful app - love the widgets. Very dependable; all features work great. (Now I just need to work out what rc file gets sourced on login so automatically start a nicer shell.) Use this with Wifi File Transfer and Hoccer for easy transfers for range of use cases. Boy I love driving handset shell from "real" keyboards within my normal environments. Should have installed this on first day with new phone; well worth the price. |

[2011-08-14] A Google User: Pretty good ssh Works well, but pretty slow, over WiFi. Also, too bad Verizon is a 10.x.x.x network, so no public access. |
