[2013-01-12] A Google User: Great on Xoom FE Nice little app. Would give 5 *'s, a few things could be improved, such as 1) bkgrd color for widget when activated (mute on). Shows pink w/ white text, black much preferred. 2) After install, prompts to place widget on home screen via menu; but tapping menu icon does nothing! Why not drop it? Had to tap the '+' on the home screen to get the widget on home screen, using the standard Android (v 3.1) method. 3) Suggestion - would be nice touch to have a timer in sec's showing how long has been muted! |

[2012-01-03] A Google User: great and neat app but does not restore correctly nearly works as I needed. single two-way toggle between normal and mute (nearly all other apps I found are tri-state), and the app itself always stays quiet (the remaining bi-state apps that I found make a loud sound when un-muting). the "simulated" slider widget is, erh, can be better. The red and green currently looks like two unrelated pictures instead of a slider that can move left and right. Sorry I need to revise the score down from 5. I found that it does not restore the volume after a mute. After a mute-unmute sequence, all my volume settings are wrong (ie not at their original levels) Basically I can't use this app at all. why does the android market stat says nobody gives 2 stars? |
