Profile lets you manipulate your phone's volumes & settings all in one convenient place. You can also schedule profile changes, so your phone responds the way you want when you want it to. Profile also gives you the option to display a notification with the current profile, which provides quick access to be able to change any of your settings. Another quick way to change the active profile is through the use of the multiple widget options that Profile contains.

One of the newer options allows you to set up both an SMS Auto-Reply and a Call Auto-Reply within your profile. You can choose whether you Auto-Reply to just people listed in your contacts, or to anyone, and you get to set your Auto-Reply message too.

Widgets available and their options:
- Profile (types: Single Tap, Set For ... Time, Set Indefinitely)
- Profile Multi (Displays list of profiles, you select)
- Profile Current (Displays current sounds/settings)

With the Profile Whitelist Addon (Separate Purchase) you can create profiles where you will only hear calls and texts from the people you really want to.

You can specify any of these settings within your profiles:
- SMS Auto-Reply and Call Auto-Reply
- Default Phone Ringtone
- Default Notification Ringtone
- Ringer Volume & Vibrate
- SMS/MMS Volume & Vibrate

Solid. Not flashy. Always works. I paid for this app forever ago, and it has followed me along to my third Android device. I've never been impressed by its looks, but that is OK - it ALWAYS works. It always activates my various profiles at the proper times. I don't have to think about whether I am at home, work, church, in bed... once I set up profiles for each scenario, I've never had to think about it again.

Unloved app Sadly this app is unloved and un-updated. Good app, great ideas, but buggy (timed profiles don't always reset to scheduled profile) and the developer doesn't or cannot reply to feedback provided. Even the links to FAQs are broken.

Was my favorite app, but with devs other obligations now, support is no longer available and updates are not being offered. Because of that, functionality has been lost. I now use SmartActions. Most of the settings I relied on with this app are duplicated in SmartActions. Excellent program, been using it for a while now, but latest update stops it from working properly. Droid X. Anxiously waiting a fix to get it working

Kept flipping system profiles I liked the widgets that allow creating a button that turns a specific profile on or off. The problem was it didn't work. Each time I called the phone it was in silent mode regardless of which profile I had picked in the Profile app. I then opened the volume profiles from the system settings and tried to reset the profile there, but no matter what profile I picked it would hop back to the silent profile. I tried a few different combinations but it wouldn't quit the jumping back to silent until I uninstalled the app. Buying apps is always a gamble. That's why I try to stick to free ones. But $1.99 isn't a huge amount. Too bad it didn't work.

Just what you'd expect from an Android Empowering .... I rate very, very few apps with 5 stars, but this gives just exactly the kind of control I was looking for from an Android. It took some time to look through all of its capabilities and figure out how to make them work for my needs, but now that I got it customized to my liking, it's my favorite app. *tip* you'll probably want to turn on track locking.

Does not seem supported any longer I loved this app! I have a tendency to bump the volume buttons when hold the phone and there is a setting within this app where it will revert back to the profile if you do that. So far, no other profile app I have found does this. Unfortunately, this does not seem to work well with JB.

Contacts are constantly removed from the white list profiles and have to be re added to the white list. Even though they were never removed from my contacts. App Is GREAT, But Not Supported Anymore :-( I have been using this app on my HTC Vivid with ICS and after some playing with it, I have been able to get it working very well! I have read some reviews here saying the Notification Tones are not working, I had a problem with mine until I deleted all Sound Sets except for the Default one that is set within the phone's Android, ICS operating system. The other thing is that the Volume Control Buttons are a bit confusing as to what they actually control (two individual buttons can control the same three sliders depending on how it reads with each tap;i.e. You can have the SMS notification tone volume controlled by the Ringtone Slider or by the Notification slider). I believe they do that in order to separate the Ringtone Control from the Notification Control so that they can have different volumes set. I would rate this app with 5 Stars even with its confusing settings methods if it were not for the fact that the developer is no longer supporting this application due to his Military obligations and busy life. It is still a GREAT app though and I recommend it highly!

Perfect This is easily the most important and useful app on my phone. Works flawlessly too. I use it at various times of the day to control wifi and Bluetooth, at work trio go on vibrate and at night to silence everything and save battery.

Useful, but fragile; and the UI needs improvement. Like others who just switched from BB to Android, I missed having an easy way to change profiles for ringers, etc. Profile lets me do that and then some. Its ability to toggle BT and WiFi, and to change profiles per docking state is powerful and useful. But it is fragile and crashes often on my SGH-T989 with 2.3.5. Luckily, it tends to first do what I asked, then crash. The widget is less crash-prone than the main app. Now that I know about PhoneWeaver, Llama, and Tasker, I still think Profile gives decent value.

Would be great if it didn't crash so often... As a former blackberry user, I too missed the easy to use profile interface. This program has the right ideas in terms of simplicity and some neat features, but I unfortunately had to uninstall it within hours of purchasing both this app and the whiltelist addon module. On my skyrocket, it started to crash repeatedly and the whitelist addon never worked. Program started to slow down and freeze when attempting to change settings, and then would suddenly crash. I have yet to hear back from the developer.....

Used it for years, can't live without it This app has done more to make every android phone I've owned work for me (rather than vice versa) than any other. I go out to the car in the morning --phone is already set up to stream audio to the car stereo via bluetooth. I get to work: phone silences(never been embarrassed by my phone at work!) itself, disables bluetooth and turns on wifi. And no other program I've bought has done more to update itself with meaningful and powerful feature updates. Favorite and best android app hands down.

Just what I was looking for Droid X GB 602 I wanted to be able to send sms autoreply when I am busy or napping, yet allow the party to call me if it's urgent. I wanted to silence the sms notification but not my ringer. None of the other programs I tried could do this. They could only silence everything or nothing. This one can separate the notifications.Now I can I set the sms autoreply to let people know I am napping or busy and to call me if it's urgent. I have not tested out the timed profiles since I have no use for them at this time.
