MobiTracker LocateMe is a GPS Tracker application which allows you to locate your phone as well as your family, friends, co-workers/employees phones at any time you wish.
This application can work as a stand alone app where you can use any phone to send a command to start tracking or it can be used together with the MobiTracker app so you can save your tracking requests for later access.

To work as a stand alone app you just need to send an SMS with the word "locateme" and the app will send you back an

SMS with the gps location of the phone.
If you want it to send an email, you can check MobiTracker LocateMe Pro wich sends an SMS or Email, depending whether internet is available or not.

To start using MobiTracker LocateMe you just have to download it to the phone you wish to track and the app will be ready to use as soon as the download is finished and the app is installed. You don't need to start the app as the app will have no visible icon.

If you request a tracking location and don't get an answer within 10 minutes just send another request. Remember that sometimes it takes a while for the phone gps to get a location fix.

Beirut Electricity Cut Off (v. 1.3.1)

Beirut Electricity Cut Off is a tool that shows daily electricity cut off times in Lebanon (areas outside Beirut are now supported also!).
Electricity in Lebanon is cut following some predefined patterns depending on locations. For example in Beirut, it is cut off for 3 hours everyday regularly between 6am and 6pm (6am-9am, 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm and 3pm-6pm)
This tool displays a calendar showing daily cut off times.
It has also home screen widgets that are dynamically updated everyday to show the correct cut off time of the day.

Features:
-Supports areas outside Beirut
-Possibility to configure multiple locations.
-Home screen widgets to show the daily cut offs along with the current electricity status (on/off)
-(NEW) Setting a Reminder before electricity cuts off

To activate the reminder go to settings -> select a location -> tick the Reminder checkbox (you can also configure the time before which the reminder is triggered, it's set to 10min by default)

Note that the cut off times are based on calculations assuming cut offs are regular and respected by EDL (Electricite Du Liban) otherwise it may differ from actual cut offs. We are aware that cut off times are not always respected by EDL so we are not responsible for any cut offs that do not match the calculated times.

To be fair, I have to tell you, that I won't continue to implement further changes or fixes into this app. This version will stay the last and final one. I will keep it here in the Play Store as still a lot of people find it useful.

But please understand, that for now I don't have the time to continue working on this app. Initially I created this just for myself, and just published it later as many people convinced me to do so. I appreciate all the positive feedback! :-)
I did this completly in my spare time, without earning money from ads or donations (and I don't want any).

I just want to give this to the community. :-)

Adds the time when an SMS was ACTUALLY SENT to your messages (only useful for devices which just show the receive time of SMS, eg. Galaxy S).

CURRENT NOTE (regarding some market comments): Unfortunately it is impossible on principle to add the sent time to messages which have been received before this app was installed. Sorry about that, it's technically impossible. :-(

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR USERS OF "Handcent SMS" (version 4.0.0 or greater):
Please check the following option in the settings of Handcent SMS (otherwise this app won't work): In menu under "Settings"->"Application settings"->Default Messaging application" and make sure that it is set to "Disable"!
Otherwise Handcent SMS wil block any other SMS app!

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR USERS OF "Go SMS":
Do not disable stock's notifications from Go SMS ("Receive Settings"->"Disable other message notification") other wise Go SMS will block any other SMS app!

It appends the sent time to the message text (the original timestamp will be kept untouched). Should work with all SMS Apps (Handcent SMS, chompSMS, Go SMS, etc..). Depends on SMS implementation details and your provider, so maybe doesn't work everywhere. Some SMS apps also may be confused if another app appends something to the  message text in background. So please leave a comment whether it's working with your device/provider/app or not. Thanks! :-)


DETAILS:

Many Android devices only display the timestamp when a message was received (not sent). This is a problem when you receive messages while your phone is turned off (or has no network coverage). In this case you don't know when the message was really sent (as you only see the received time when you turn on the phone again).

Also allows to add the SMSC (sms service centre) number from where the message was sent (technical stuff for people who are interested).

Ad-free! Resource-efficient: does not run as a background service, only gets started by Android when a SMS is received.
Another thing: I develop this only in my spare time, so please understand if it's not perfect (and give me feedback). :-)


TECHNICAL:

Tested successfully with Austrian providers. Theoretically it may be possible that the added sent time may be incorrect (different tiomezone) if the SMS service centre of the sender is located in a different timezone.


EXPLANATION OF PERMISSIONS:

- "RECEIVE SMS": necessary for reading the sent time out of the received SMS data package from the mobile provider

- "EDIT SMS OR MMS": necessary for adding the sent time to the message in the device's SMS database

- "READ SMS OR MMS": necessary for looking up the message to edit in the sms database

- "MODIFY/DELETE SD CARD CONTENTS": necessary for writing logfile to SD (when logging is enabled)

[What can do?]

2. View the list of saved Apps.
3. Remove the saved Apps from list.

6. Share to other app.

[How to use?]
1. Search some App in Market from your phone.
2. Tap the "Share" button.
3. Select "Market Bookmark".
4. Then the detail of App will be displayed, you can save App information when you tap "Add" button.
5. All feature can use from pushing menu button.

[Caution!!]
This App implements that access to "market.android.com" to acquire the App name when receive the intent.
In the future, we have possibilities that we cannot acquire App name by changes to the specification of "market.android.com".

Therefore, App name will be empty when fail to acquire App name. This is due to network error, so back to Market App and retry!

[Uses permission]
- Access to the internet: To acquire the application name.
- Read/Write external storage: To import/export apps info.


And, Market Bookmark will exit automatically when the App list is empty.
