Determine whether or not your phone contains Carrier IQ mobile diagnostic software.

Security researchers have recently determined that a number of consumer mobile devices contain pre-installed software from Carrier IQ. While this software appears to be designed to help mobile network operators improve coverage through metrics tracking, it does not provide a clear opt-out path for users. Additionally, it can be difficult for non-technical users to determine whether or not their handset is affected. We've developed the Carrier IQ Detector to aid in this process in an effort to keep mobile users fully informed about what their phone is doing.

Removal

This application does not remove Carrier IQ software from your device. Because Carrier IQ software is deeply integrated with handset firmware, users would be required to attain special device privileges in order to remove it. Side effects of this process have the potential to put users at further risk of malware infection while making devices ineligible to receive firmware updates in the future. If you are sure you know what you are doing and would like to remove Carrier IQ software from your phone, there are a number of guides available online.

If you have made previous attempts to remove Carrier IQ software from your device, our Detector may still report its presence. This can be caused by incomplete removal attempts that do not remove all relevant files.

Permissions

Both of the permissions are only used if you choose to share your results with us.  CM users may revoke both permissions and the app will still function.

This app is not a replacement for Lookout Mobile Security, and will not detect or repair malware. Downloading the full version of Lookout is the best way to keep your phone safe from malware and spyware, back up your data, and locate, scream, lock, or wipe a lost or stolen phone.

This app's goal is to let you find out as easily as possible if your Android device hosts CarrierIQ rootkit or not.

Results cannot be blindly trusted but the accuracy is decent already.
* Work is in progress: We are actually writing an optional public reporting feature, that will allow to build an wide database describing Carrier IQ installations.

How to remove Carrier IQ? Call your carrier, convince them to change of policy.

Important note:
Some anti - Carrier IQ fixes are not detected yet and can generate false positives (now improved a lot)

This is an open source app, please contact me for collaboration & contributions, we will work together.
You're welcome reviewing its source code. It's a security app after all.

The satellite list is in the app menu.

For people who are giving me one star "because this app use camera permission". This app need this permission, to work ARView. It is not taking any photos - only use camera preview to show you where the satellite is on the sky...

SatFinder (Satellite Finder) is a tool which will help you to set up satellite dish. It will give you azimuth, elevation and LNB tilt for your location (based on GPS) and chosen satellite from list. The result is shown both as numeric data and graphical on google maps. It has also built in compass which will help you to find proper satellite azimuth. It also can use augmented reality to show where is satellite on camera view.

The satellite list is complete and includes all televison satellites, so the app should work worldwide. If you found some errors please send me e-mail. It will help me make this app better ;)

Since version 1.07 there is whole world FTA and encrypted channels database. It take a few seconds to show whole list so be patient. It use internet connection. Top 10 countries got fixed language on nice list. The list will be updated. The users from another countries can type language manual. But the list uses language shortcuts, for example - English = eng, German = ger, etc... The channel list is still incomplete - I'm working on it. If you find error on list please send me e-mail...
