WhereIs is not the first but by far the easiest, probably the cheapest and for sure the most reliable app to find your phone by sending it a text message. As soon as the message is received the phone will request its location and send it by email to the configured email address.

This application runs silently without consuming much CPU with any SMS client.
Once SMS/MMS/WAP-PUSH / GMail / Email message are received, the keypad automatically gets unlocked even if Unlock pattern is enabled.
Please note that if your key guard is set by company policy, this application will not work.

This application runs silently in the background and you CANNOT launch the app like other apps. This is for security reasons. Alternatively send a default text # to yourself to get the 'Settings' screen.

You can change the key [#] to launch the settings.

Sorry for the delay in updates, I have been hard at work redeveloping the app and spending a lot of time getting things to work better and faster including an all new layout and new features! This update will be in the market soon so thanks for hanging on for so long!

Anti-theft is the perfect solution for you. This App as would immediately notify you in case of un-authorized SIM access. You can send an SMS Command which will lock the phone and no one except the owner will be able to access it. It will also send the new SIM card number, the GPS Location of the handset to the nominated buddy number. With special SMS codes you can delete call-logs, messages, contacts from the phone book and send backup of contacts via an SMS to a mobile phone nominated by the user. It also provides facility to restore messages and contacts. No needs of Internet !! Great utility for complete safety & security!!

What if you forget your Phone at home & You want to get Contact Number or Email from your Phone Contact Book? Antitheft is what you need. Just send one formatted SMS search command & it will reply back with Search results.

What if you want to secure your Media files? No need to buy separate application. Just Goto "Important files" option & keep your important files selected. Please refer Secure/Restore SDCard Content option below for more information.

Following formatted SMS are currently supported:

   1. BackUp SMS - Deletes all SMS & sends completion SMS to buddy.
   2. BackUp Contacts - Deletes all contacts from phone book & sends backup via SMS to buddy.
   3. Clear CallLog - Deletes all Call logs & sends completion SMS to buddy.
   4. Where is Device - Sends GPS location of handset via SMS to buddy.
   5. Lock Device - Locks the handset & sends completion SMS to buddy.
   6. Secure SDCard Content - Encrypt all the selected Important Files on the phone & sends completion SMS to buddy.
   7. UnLock Device - Unlocks the handset & sends completion SMS to buddy.
   8. Restore SDCard Content - Decrypt back all selected important Files on the phone & sends completion SMS to buddy.
   9. Restore SMS - Restores all previously deleted SMS & sends completion SMS to buddy.
  10. Restore Contacts - Restores all previously deleted contacts & sends completion SMS to buddy.
  11. Hang Device - Master SMS which combines all the above keyword functions from 1 thru 6.
  12. Search Email ??? - This will search Phone Book for email start with "???" and send results back to the buddy number by SMS(??? indicates starting text of the email). For eg. Search Email john - will provide All email-id with 'john' as starting email text.
  13. Search Contact ??? - This will search Phone Book for contact(phone numbers) with name starting from "???" And will send results back to the buddy number by SMS(??? indicates starting text of the contact name). For eg. FOViewer is a handy astronomy tool for every stargazer. It allows you to calculate things like the magnification of your particular telescope and eyepiece combination. FOViewer will also show your field of view superimposed on astrophotos of well-known objects. That way you can get a good prediction of which eyepieces to use to optimally view your celestial targets. You can add your own equipment to FOViewer to get spot-on predictions for your telescope / eyepiece combinations. If a particular telescope / eyepiece combination results in a magnification that goes beyond the maximum useful magnification of your telescope, then FOViewer will notify you by giving the magnification a red background and showing an alert.

Apart from the magnification, the field of view and the F ratio of your telescope, FOViewer will show you the local time, your GPS coordinates and a compass to help you get that GOTO telescope properly aligned!

So to summarize, FOViewer;

• Calculates the magnification, F ratio and field of view for a particular telescope / eyepiece combination.
• Alerts you when your magnifications goes beyond the maximum useful magnification of your telescope.
• Shows you your field of view as a circle drawn on photos of well-known celestial objects. Objects for both hemisphere’s are available.
• Let’s you add and remove your own telescopes, eyepieces and barlow lenses.
• Shows your local time to help you configure your GOTO telescope.
• Shows your current GPS position.
• Shows you where magnetic north is by means of a small compass.

A few pointers on using FOViewer.
• Tap the plus icons to add your own equipment.
• Tap the minus icons to remove equipment from the lists.
• Tap the preview images to cycle through objects.
• Frequently calibrate your build-in electronic compass by drawing figure 8’s in the air.
