If you don't know what ICMP means, this probably is not what you're looking for.
*Ping by IP or Hostname
*Ping address range
*Ping subnet using CIDR block
*Use system ping or pure Java ping
Please e-mail me if you are having problems rather than leaving vague comments. I want this to be trouble free for everyone.
If you get the message that your carrier has ICMP disabled this generally means one of two things. Your carrier or the wireless network you're using may be blocking outgoing ICMP. The other possibility is because this test is done by pinging a server that I run, so on rare occasions the server may have just been down briefly due to network issues at the datacenter or a reboot.
