This app is designed to help you backup your photos easily, which means there are no annoying forms or anything. In fact, when the program runs, there is no indication at all. For me it is nice not being bothered with choices all the time. Just delete the emails with photos you don’t want to save.
The app is designed only to upload photos, when the phone has WIFI connection, thus making it completely free to use. If you don't receive your photos, please check your spamfilter. Also notice that no logging of any kind is done!
The application can be used for illegal purposes, such as spying in other peoples pictures. Please don't do that, it is bad for your karma.
- Configuration -
Once the app is installed, it needs to be configured. In order to do this toggle the WIFI (on or off, doesn't matter) or restart the phone. This will display a notification. Click the notification to start the one-time configuration. You can select a maximum of two folders which will be observed constantly. You should choose the folder(s) where the camera stores new photos. Simply click the spinners, then click them again. Lastly, write your email-address. This is where all the pictures will be sent. If you are in doubt where the photos are stored, please try to take a couple of pictures on your phone and then locate them using a file manager (some phones have them preinstalled, but there are also several free file managers on Android Market). Once the app is configured, the notification is gone and will never appear again. If you later need to reconfigure something, you must uninstall the app, and start over.
- Operation -
Each time the phone is connected to WIFI, it will send the new pictures to your email (if the right paths were set in the configuration). About once a week the entire phone will be searched for new photos outside the chosen folders, and these will be sent to you.
