Security is very important I don't want to leak any personal information, but it become more and more difficult now days. This application respect the personal information security of us and try to give the right of choice back to us. And the right of choice depends on the rating of permission friendly of other applications provided by this application. I must rate a five star for it!

One of my most important apps Easy to use and so vital. I've uninstalled apps that were far too intrusive and replaced them with others. I just don't see the need for something like a notepad app to have access to my camera function. I've recommended this app to friends and family.

Does and does not correctly This app does what it promises, and does not require special permissions or include ads. Makes one think about how easily we put our privacy and security at risk for the convenience an app offers.

spectacular Firstly, this is a free app. That doesn't ask any permissions. And takes up little space. Why NOT get it?! More importantly it works. Not only shows you if apps are really sorry keeping and just gives you a good way to keep tabs on your privacy. This is also a MUST HAVE for root users. Click on an app and it shows which permissions are truly needed. If you use ad blocking or permission control apps, scores will reflect how effective they were.

Thanks Downloading apps is like walking on a minefield these days with all the shady apps out there. Google is no help, android by design, and the market place seems to be designed to share all your information if you make one wrong click. I wish they would include a firewall and permissions manager at the system level so I wouldn't have to root. Thanks for a great app and making android a little more secure. Someone has to as Google sure isn't doing too much.

Useful app, more useful than you think I have been nervous about permissions since I got my Android phone, information and privacy are everything these days.This is one of the first apps I picked up and it has done what it said it would, detect the permissions of each app and organize them. It requires no permissions and is ad free, what more could someone ask for? It is always good to keep up on permissions and this app does that flawlessly.

Brilliant - sent shivers down my spine. Highly recommended. I wish I had come across this app sooner. Not only does it rate and display the permissions required by all one's apps, it also explains them and the circumstances in which they might be used. This is probably more useful than an anti-virus app and, in a few of my cases, I have replaced apps with other, safer ones. My worst examples include an app that couldn't possibly have had any legitimate reason to modify my calendar and send out invitation messages to attend events and several apps that accessed all my accounts, contacts and could make phone calls. It frightened me. An enormous THANK YOU to the developers.

Excelent It shows and explains each permission. It is interesting to see that apps that actually take pictures when you request doesnt need permissions for camera, cause you are the one requesting and allowing but if they need special permission showing when you are installing, you should be aware. It might be taking pictures without your knowledge.

Dark and purrrty! Easily one of my top 5 favorite apps. It could use some more features though. I wish there were more ways to customize ones' behaviors with each app, rather than just checking them off as if everything is A-OK. Needs a tier level system that can help the user identify how they feel about certain apps.

Must have app You should always check the permissions of apps before installing but if you other people use your device other than you this is a great way to check after the fact. Its funny that the worst offender in my case was Google Chrome. Imagine that. Google collecting too much information on its users.

Easy to use & works well It is easy to sort the apps by their danger score, and the danger score seems to be quite accurate about how bad an app is, so you can quickly see which apps you should examine closer. Trusted apps can be hidden, and although you cannot hide apps by trusted developers, that isn't really needed since it already hides built-in apps & anything by Google (which is how I like it but it would be nice if this could be configured). The GUI is easy to use, and examining an app (thankfully!) displays in a separate 'window' (thus not cluttering the display). The developer has clearly gone for ease of use, although this does mean it lacks a few advanced features (e.g. showing all apps which use a particular permission). It is well worth installing!
