You aren't forced to vote! This is a widget, meant to be added to your home screen. Launching from the app drawer provides you with clear instructions on how to add the widget to the home screen, usage & license information, and the *option* to rate the app. Learn to read before you give a poor review! App is great; simple, easy to configure, & does the job.

Not only does it do port 80 test, it also does a verification of the downloads Web page to verify that the page content is accurate, making sure that it will notify you should your site go down because of situations like database connection error, where the Web server is still responding

Great widget. Good for notifications about downtime. I use it as another level of monitoring. Also, no one forces you to review like most of the people claim here. It's a widget, not an app! Just click on desktop and add it. Just because there is a button in the app doesn't mean you have to click on it.

Needs more notification options Downloaded and installed the app today to help troubleshoot a flaky WebAuth Proxy on a WiFi network. So far so good. What I would like to see is the ability to select custom notifications methods for individual monitors and states. In other words for each monitor widget the ability to select a notification method (none, vibrate, sound - including custom sound) for each state (up, down) would be very useful. Thank you for creating a simple monitoring widget.
