it's really just disabling autorotation rather than locking the orientation. After "locking" it simply goes back to the default orientation.

Works as you'd think. Search button shortcut unfortunately doesn't work on the Droid X+the icon is kinda ugly. If they fix those things then 5 stars.

This has been fully tested and working on Droid 2.2. On the Droid X and 2 motoblur doesn't allow the long press of search to launch apps though.
