Note Pad (also known as Notes List or Notes) is another sample of an Android application from Google with very basic functionality. It features a simple text processor and lists all notes in a linear structure. Users can only add, edit and delete notes.

Works great on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Mine auto saves as soon as you're done editting and exit the note. Works like it is advertised and is super small.

Deaf Its great for a hearing person to communicate with a deaf person when sign language isn't allow for all details to be said. It ddoesn't matter than you can't save, or edit. When all youre looking for is a notepad.exe type app.

Perfect, except... I would love using this application if I could get it to save notes. I use speech to text and make long entries but if I accidentally hit my lock button the whole note disappears. If I am able save a note sometimes it will save with the title and other times it does not. The look is great, the idea is great, but the function is poor.

Needs one more thing Unfortunate incident in writing a speech on this app - spent a good while and accidentally hit the revert button - wiped out my speech completely. If there's a revert, there needs to be an undo to regain lost text. I gave this a 4 - since this seems to have an editing function in the revert, without an undo to regain text, I can't give it a 5.

Do not depend on this app This app saves notes to the phone memory and has no backup feature. It can export individual notes to text but that is no good if you have more one. I lost six months of work because of this, so I'm warning everyone.
