If the NOOK for Android app is updated to version 3.0.0.17, then ROOT ACCESS is required on your device in order to use this app.
Do you wish that book covers would display for side-loaded epubs in the NOOK for Android app? Look no further than the Nook Book Cover Helper(NBCH). For a book missing its illustrated front cover, this app allows the Nook user to add the missing illustration for side-loaded epubs.
This is the donate version of Nook Book Cover Helper.
This version has all the same features as the free version, plus:
* Extract all cover images all at once
* Add your own custom book covers
* Support for Nook app versions 3.0.0.17 and below

[2012-01-29] Nora, Honi: Like Magic Running: Nook for Android on CM7 rooted NC. Totally worth more than $.99. The automated search found covers for about 90% of my sideloaded books. These were all run through Calibre to format them as epub first. For the books that were not automatically found, the "Custom" cover feature allowed me to quickly browse my SD card to associate the correct .jpg which was already there from Calibre. What a time-saver and what a difference having cover art makes (vs those ugly grey boxes). |

[2012-01-25] princeplanet: Doesn't work on Transformer Prime with ICS I used this program on my Xoom, running Honeycomb. It worked very well. I bought an ASUS Transformer Prime. The program tells me I have no books (I transferred all my books to the nook document folder) and that the database is bad. |

[2012-01-19] mikedmeyer: Sometimesthe generic cover is better! Need to be able to revert to generic cover! Some side loads come out having a Microsoft word icon with NO identifying text. In these cases a plain brown cover with title is preferred! |

[2012-01-15] the 1/16/2012  Am I missing something? I ran the app and it found the covers for the 120 side-loaded books but when I open the Nook app the covers still aren't there. I did force close and clear data on the Nook app but still no dice. Any ideas from those of you that have it working? I will come back and edit my review if/when I can get this working. |
