An active nagios client is an essential part of effective monitoring. Xmpp / sms / smtp wont alert you if Nagios gets isolated or inoperable.

Kinda useless.. Has a bug that restarts the service even if disabled, doesn't let you add comments, acknowledge, schedule downtime, or anything.

Lee, i had that problem when i put the full path to my status.cgi script in, not the path to the cgi-bin folder, check if you've made the same error
