Use LibraryThing? Got an Android phone? Sure, an integrated LibraryThing mobile app experience might be better, but this app goes a long way toward making it easier to catalogue and share your books.

Works less than half the time This app is kind of useless--the scanner almost never focuses on the barcode (unlike the barcode scanner built into Goodreads). When it does scan, the app isn't well integrated with Librarything anyway.

Great scanning. can't connect to LT Like another person said. Signing in on librarything doesn't happen. It won't actually allow an LG spectrum to add. Scanning though.....that part works great

Works great I've had a librarything account for years but never catalogued all my books because it was too cumbersome. This makes it much easier. Works fine with my phone.

It works! Does exactly what it says on the tin. Read the instructions! Provides a simple interface to the Librarything web UI. Saved me a lot of time and effort. Only gripe is that the camera focus sometimes struggles, but moving the phone up and down a bit usually solves it. (Galaxy Tab P1000).

It could be GREAT if only problem's solved Only problem: It finds books and shows all info on screen, as long as your browser (which is auto-opened by the app) is NOT on TheLibraryThing webpage. Now (and this is very frustrating), with all the book's information with cover and everything on your screen, if you tap on "Add to my library", you are taken to a blank page, instead to the log-in page, and from there to your library with the new book already added. If you ARE on TLT webpage, it just goes to "search", which doesn't even work well.

More than half the books I scanned didn't show up in the search. Not obscure books, either...it didn't recognize one of the Harry Potter books.

Nevermind. I got it to work. If you don't find the book on the first source, try another one. BTW, NOT self-explanitory, imo. Has issues.
