Why use LEAP Wifi Free over other offerings on the Android Market? Unlike other offerings, this application is targeted specifically for configuring a LEAP wifi profile. The reason this is significant is because through my extensive testing and debugging of customer-reported issues, I have found MANY inconsistencies between the different Android OS releases and devices. The coding required to successfully connect to a LEAP network needs to compensate for these many inconsistencies. The other offerings out there are general wifi configuration tools, which means they don't give focused attention to the special requirements of creating a proper LEAP configuration.

Strangely Awesome Free version didn't work, but paid did. I didn't use any different options that came with paid, so why do I need to pay??? The app is worth it to me, and I'm very happy that I am now connected inside the firewall.

Hole in One! Brilliant, it took under a minute to install app and access LEAP network from my HTC Desire running 2.2. Even though I don't need it I'm going to buy the pro version as a way of saying thank you. I can't believe Android doesn't support this out of the box.

Yes! Nexus S running 2.3.3. I first tried using the standard wifi tools to define the network as PEAP which works for others, but not for me, then I tried the 'Full Wifi' app, but it also did not work. But this App allowed me to connect to our LEAP network!
