Extremely simple, no ads. The UI is just about as simple as it could be and there are no ads. "Stacks" of cards can be downloaded from a couple of online user-contribution-driven services or loaded off an SD card.

Works as advertised You don't get all of the features as you do with the app on iOS, but it functions as good as you need it to with zero frills. 1-Find your card stack and create a QR code with the link the developer provided 2-within the app go to the import from QR. It'll prompt you for a download and will put the cards into the database. 3-Go back to the main menu with this app view your database and there are your new cards. It's straight forward though you can't do things like random order and star.

Great for Studying This is simple and works with many stacks. I used it with quizlet and shared stacks. It doesn't yet screen-adjust for my Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet, but the developer says maybe this fall will have time to fix.

you can test cards from both sides Unlike kaka 2 and many others you can test cards from both sides. It's fairly basic, no syncing but it is possible to edit and write cards and create sets. No preview of all the cards in a set either. Essentially, it's good if you just want to use it to review cards rather than write them.

horrible interface When editing a card set, I have to click to edit an EditText but instead of typing right away, a new form pops up that doesn't get the focus so I have to click it again??? I get no feedback of what's going on while learning? Especially when I'm through with all cards. Generally Leitner is old school. Spaced Repetition is the way to go. It should not be that hard to implement a time stamp per card instead of a Leitner box number. FluxCards and even Anki are way better. Kaka 2 is only cosmetics so far.

. Not that great of integration with quizlet. Also app will kill your battery life if u leave it mid way of going through a stack without exiting. Found this out the hard way.

Great app I've been using on tablets After discovering that learning by flashcards might work for me (avoiding it my entire childhood), I have been using Kaka Flashcards for months on three different tablets. First on the gTablet, then Galaxy Tab, and now Asus Transformer. Only the last one gave me trouble. All the menus are blown up to incredibly large font sizes, but upon changing the font size in the settings, the cards themselves are good, which is the important part.
