Best guitar app ever If u want to learn guitar...well ...u should install this...it is a must have...from the pentatonic scales to the major scales...from droian mode to aeolian mode.. U will get everything over here... It also includes all the chord shapes Just f&*%@/g install it

Unusable on Galaxy Note 10.1 Would not pay for this! On the Galaxy note 10.1 the fretboard is less than an inch wide. Also the hear function is faulty or is designed poorly. The notes are played in seemingly random orders and groupings. There are plenty of well designed apps for the note 10.1 but this isnt one of them. From what I could see the app would be okay if these functionality problems were resolved.

Would be 5. Fretboard is too small, Notes are incorrect in chords and scales, accidentals don't show up, note letters are cut off and hard to read. Poorly designed for phones and smaller tablets(tested on Nexus 7 as well).

Wow Seems all accurate to me, has a massive range of scales and chords. Does have natural minor (aolean) scale (saw comment they said it wasn't there). Only thing that could be improved is to add a # or b to the written notes to clarify for newbies. Love this app tho! 5*'s

The One! ...Awesome! The One! After several frustraiting days dowloading, installing and later unistalling programs that dont work...I find the one! I play guitar almost my whole life and I was looking for a program to brush up the MODES again and I found it! Better before update - Motorola Xoom 1 Really?? Did you guys purposely made that fretboard so tiny that it's impossible to read the notes? It was perfect until I accidentally updated the app today.. This is a downgrade.. Please fix it. Otherwise it was a 5* app..

Well done! Very clear to see what notes make up each chord. Not to mention it shows me most of the different forms of each chord. this application had definitely helped me become a better guitar player! Highly recommended!

Good app Very useful & informative. I like the variation in scales. Many of the other similar apps are very limited as to what they offer. With this one I have access to not only major & minor pentatonic scales but also dorian & mixolidian as well as many other hard to find scales. Good job.

Please Read For a beginner this shows an extensive range of chords and it has major and minor pentatonic scales. That's enough already for a free app! If you are new to playing the guitar it also shows alternate ways to play the same chords further up the neck. Credit where credit is due, any chord book in the shops would cost a couple of pounds. Thanks to the developer for this. Thanks to the idiots who use bad language in reviews too, you show us so much about what's happening to the gene pool. Lol.

Your Scales Are Wrong After reading other reviews, I see I'm not the only one with this complaint. Your note names are entirely off for everything. In no universe does a Locrian scale start on a C and have no sharps or flats, and that's by far not the only one. I hope you do fix these, because conceptually speaking, this app is a great idea. I just hope you get your content straight. And no, I will not upgrade to the new version, because in that one, you only give us five scales, and those aren't even right.

Nice I am mainly self taught. I play just about every genre of music out there and have got to say I have used and recommended this app to all my buddies at the guitar shacks I go to. They, like me, have used and have raved about it. Its a great tool especially when brushing up on scales that are in unusual keys for me. The chords and variations have saved my "butt" and hands on many occasions, or just sitting at home trying to "keep it in the box" as much as possible. A few bugs,but great overall.
