InterNETmittence Pro allows your phone's battery to live a little longer by disabling 3G data connection according to conditions you set up.
How to use it:
- Time Intervals
InterNETmittence Pro allows you to specify how long you want your 3G to be turned on for, and how long until it reconnects again.
Just tap on the timer you want to modify and choose your optimal settings.
- Quiet Hours
This feature allows you to specify "Quiet Hours", during which your mobile internet will be disabled, effectively saving battery.
This is particularly useful overnight, so you can still have your phone offline while you sleep and connect to the internet to fetch emails, weather, news and more before you even wake up.
- Screen Off
The ultimate power saver, enabling this option will force your phone into disabling any data transfer while the screen is off, effectively resulting in a great battery boost while giving up on push notification.
Only use this option if you don't need real-time notifications or emails.
Please note that this app is still in development, you may run into some bug that I encourage you to report so I can fix them

[2011-07-13] Steve Hunt: Caveat CDMA 4G Users This product works on many platforms, but CDMA (Verizon) 4G may have problems. Worked for me for a few days but after a Verizon firmware update, I was hosed. I could no longer manually toggle network access on or off. The product replaces the APN and locks it, so you can't remove it or reset to default. If you have this problem, don't worry. Just create a new APN with a new name. I used Internet2. Point the APN to VZWINTERNET (Verizon), save & select. Disable the app and uninstall. Simple. |

[2011-06-25] hellnick: needs a lot of work Installed this on my Nexus S - it just stopped all mobile data and I'm still unable to restart my mobile connection. Wireless works fine so I have uninstalled it but still no 3g... I suppose it could be a coincidence... |

[2011-06-25] hess42: Uninstalled and then no data connection worked at all!! Finally fixed by going to Mobile Networks/Access Point Names and resetting to default. |
