NOTE: We are currently working on updating the functionality to work correctly under Android 4.2 - currently the sleep activation does not function correctly on some newer devices.
Insomnia keeps your device and screen awake, either by your command or automatically from physical connections and active calls.
Features:
- Configurable activation through common events:
- Active incoming and outgoing phone calls
- Charging via AC or USB
- Headset connected
- Connection to a USB host
- Options to disable when your battery starts running low
- Notification icon for quick toggling
- Restores on device boot
Coming soon:
- Wifi lock
Automatic triggers are disabled by default except for USB connections. Headset connection trigger requires a small background service to listen for the events.
Requires permission to view phone call states to allow for automatic activation during calls (functionality disabled by default).

[2012-08-08] A Google User: Simple but effective I needed an app that would keep my phone from switching that was just there to switch on and off. This works great and is really simple to use. A+. - - - Update, I now have this installed on my HTC one x and my galaxy tab2 7 and it works great. really handy on the HTC when making a call not to have to unlock the phone to get to something. |

[2012-05-15] A Google User: ok so far seems to work okay so far, got sick of trying to do things via keypad during call only to find screen lock had cut in. note, after installing the app the screen lock timer function was blank, no time selected. i set this back to 2 minutes and it works fine. |
