When SSID is hidden at wifi, you may not use wifi.
This software enable hidden SSID.
NOTE: This software will change wifi settings,
take responsibility by yourself.

Andoid 2.2 So easy - with my hidden WiFi disconnecting me continually, I just started this app, entered the SSID name and clicked the one and only button, and my phone connected. OK so the App didn't tell me how wonderful I am, nor that it had done the enabling - but I am. And it had! Some people just like to complain. Thank you Jun. As Alan said, the connection still worked with the app uninstalled, even after I powered my phone off then on. But its good to have this App for the next time you need it. |

Does just as it says Spent a lot of time trying to get this work, but Alan's solution does work under one condition, you have to make sure that your router is broadcasting only in mode 'b' & 'g'. if mode 'n' is unabled, it won't work. Thanks Alan! You might or might not want to uninstall the app afterwards, it doesn't change anything. |

[2012-02-04] A Google User: You only need to do it once Although the program does not show whether it is working, you just need to wait for a while, your wifi connector will show up, it means you are connected. No need to broadcast and unbroadcast on your router, just set up the wifi profile manually and use this program to enable the hidden ssid. I've tried another newer program, it didn't work for me. |

This app works great if you are broadcasting 802.11b or 802.11g. BUT it will not work if the broadcast is 802.11n - obviously something wrong with the Desire :-( and not the App. |

I read about this program in a blog and tried it. Enable your SSID broadcast on your router. Download and install this program on your phone. Open the program. Enter your SSID name. Turn Wifi off on your phone. Disable your SSID broadcast on your router. Turn Wifi on your phone. Wala! Mission accomplished. It works great! Thank you Jun. This should be built into Gingerbread! |
