About the proximity layout:
Designed for efficient single finger typing and better utilization of screen space in portrait orientation. Vowels are grouped in the middle. Letters that commonly appear next to each other in words ("th", "ch", "sh", "ly", "ck", "es", "ing", etc.) are adjacent to each other on the keyboard.

Please keep an open mind when reviewing this keyboard. This is not another Qwerty keyboard. It is my attempt at creating a keyboard design specifically for touch screen phones.
Qwerty wasn't designed for phones and I don't believe it should be blindly accepted as the de facto standard going forward with all the new devices and form factors. Qwerty was designed for typing with all 10 fingers of both hands on a table top. This keyboard is designed for typing with 1 finger of 1 hand in the palm of your hand.
