Hdhomerun Signal Meter (v. 1.13) Разработано zaren678 |
A simple signal meter for Hdhomerun devices by Silicondust.
This application allows you the discover, tune, and perform a channel scan on your Hdhomerun device. The signal strengths and data rates will be displayed for the channel tuned to.
Why carry a laptop in the attic or onto the roof when aligning your antenna when you could just carry your phone?

[2012-09-10] Don: A MUST HAVE App for ALL HDHomeRun owners! Now this is a real time saving App when your setting up your HDHomeRun!! This App is a must when determining the best place to position your Dual's HD antenna, and/or even when validating the quality of your in wall coax runs, splitters, loss and checking for end point SNR with either the Dual or Prime with CC!! The only way to make this any better would be to have an automated select channel 'sweep' loop that you could setup to identify 2 or 3 channels to cycle between when you posistion the Antenna in order to determine a best physical averaging position for placement considering your favorite channels. This would help those of us trying to locate that perfect sweet spot with HD stations located in all directions (city) vs mainly located in one direction (suburbs and outskirts) when tuning for signal averaging vs peaking. |

[2012-09-10] Chris: Doesn't find my HDHR3 Doesn't auto-find my hdhr3 from wifi, can't set device ip statically. Useless app |
[2012-08-25] Nick: Excellent, works perfectly! Got this downloaded just as I was hooking up my new HD antenna to my newly purchased HDHomerun, and this was perfect for making sure I had everything pointed correctly along with checking my Coax connections. Awesome app! |
[2012-08-20] Keith: Just what I was looking for Needed a way to check my antenna aim from the roof. This is it. |

[2012-08-18] Justin: Bummer. I was excited to see this app, but it won't find my hd home run unit, and there is no support to speak of. I got what I paid for I guess ;-) |

[2012-06-05] Sir Maxim: OMG Thank you! VNC or hauling my netbook outside was getting silly. Update: Still awesome. Practically a must. |
[2012-05-27] kmc: If you are installing an HDHomerun then you probably need thus app! Works great with my Prime |
[2012-05-06] candlelight: great tool for tuning antenna i also use it to figure out if the quality is a problem of the network. |
[2012-04-29] David: No more laptop in the attic! Fantastic! This is a huge help when I'm up in the attic trying to adjust my antennas. It works flawlessly. One suggestion, it would be nice to have two buttons to quickly scroll through frequencies (instead of auto-scanning) so that I don't have to type in a specific number. |
[2012-04-04] footeo: Very usefull Had been using the windows version of hdhomerun config on my pc and using remote desktop 2x client on my phone which worked ok. This app is much easier. It would be nice to see multiple tuners at once for finding the sweet spot between channels. |
[2012-03-03] aqnd: Long awaited! Glad someone made an HDHR app.. now I don't need to bring the laptop on the roof for tweaks. Haven't run into any issues yet, overall very nice app. |

[2012-02-05] Trav: My phone will never be without this. Now I have a wireless, handheld signal monitor. Before I had to keep yelling to my wife "Is it better now? How about now?" |

[2011-12-12] Ed: Works great The only way to point your antenna when you are 25 feet up on a ladder |
[2011-12-04] Eric: Thank Works well to help antenna pointing. Thanks! |
[2011-11-26] Trip: Perfect! Stumbled on this port while looking for a superior cell signal meter, and am quite glad I found it. Works great! I hope that in the future it might be possible to watch video from the HDHR on my phone. |
[2011-11-17] Mark: Works pretty well on rooted NookColor Extremely useful for monitoring right at antenna, while adjusting. Clones the HDHR ConfigGui UI, which could be improved on for small screens. Thanks! |
[2011-11-06] stripe42: Does what it says Finds device fine. Matches signal strength reported by MythTV. |
[2011-11-06] Michael: work well make sure you are on the correct wifi. It works and speed is not bad. Now it I could only watch tv from this |
[2011-10-26] William: Great app Would pay for a version that would allow me to watch TV off item |
[2011-09-27] Rob: Brilliant Brilliant app but can crash the phone if for instance the wifi connection drops. However, indespensible when mounting an antenna on the roof. |

[2011-09-19] bbc581: Five stars for the initiative alone! Works here! Make it into a tuner package that can launch the streams with an external player? or accentuate MythTV for Android? |
