cannot remotely turn on GPS You'll have to keep your GPS on all the time in order for you to use this app. Or, you can use the free version of Lookout to remotely turn on GPS, then use Instamapper to locate. I use THIS to LOCATE, and use free Lookout for SCREAM and LOCK. Inst is MUCH more accurate than 6 other GPS locator programs I've tried. It is ALWAYS accurate to within a few meters, NEVER WRONG. Others (even Lookout) often map me 1 mile or more away from where my phone is.

Learn to use the app. Robert learn to use the fetch command!!! "GPS_TRACKER_FETCH device_key" the app isn't active then. The phone will just receive a text. I am honestly starting to believe some people are just lacking basic skills to own a smartphone (reading in this case). This app wasn't developed to stalk people, rather a tool if your phone is misplaced/stolen. So its clearly not for you. About the website being down, i didn't encounter that. I love how detailed the movements are once you logon to the site.

Essentially Useless This app is essentially useless. Even in stealth mode, when remotely turned on it sends a notification that it is running and shows the gps icon in the notification bar. For somebody who just found your phone and wants to return it this is fine but a thief will simply shut down the app. Also, the developer does not monitor the forum and does not respond to concerns.

Most gps devices have trouble picking up signal when indoor so u can't blame the app. Exit the app properly so it doesn't run in the background

Loved with Blackberry...not great with Android I loved this app with my Blackberry so when we upgraded to Androids we installed on both phones. The app worked well and tracked online 4 days then when I log into our account this morning, both the Androids are missing. We have uninstalled and installed Family GPS Tracker. Fun and effective AND FREE!

there's a hack to remove the notification..Works great with Tasker which enables me to send turn on and lock phone while app is off. Saves battery.
