GPS Monitor Free (v. 1.1.0.45)

GPS Monitor keeps you informed about your GPS signal; the application updates in realtime the number of satellites in view/fix right in the notification bar.
GPS Monitor activates itself when GPS is in use and turns off automatically when GPS is no longer in use.
Notification icon can show Satellites in view/fix, Accuracy, Speed. Notification shows lon, lat, acc, spd, gpstime, address, etc..
Automatically starts at boot.

This is the first version of the application; I am constantly adding new features to the app and improving the existing ones, so please be gentle with your ratings.
Just send me an email at support@illyrium.eu with any eventual bugs/requested features and I will do what I can to address them.

Premium version is also available on the Market.

My GPS works... This is the best! I have a HTC Desire S and the GPS takes very long to lock-in. I have tried many Apps but this is simply the BEST!! Very very fast. It would lock-in even with just six satellites. This should be a standard Android application. THANK YOU!

I like this app but I have blocked permission for network access using LBE Privacy Guard. Not sure why that permission would be needed.
