Like it good for a estimate Impressive uses google maps, tried to the height of Scarfel pike give me Knotts pass for the nearest point. Thats way down the mountain and several miles away. So good it your ambling about the shops and local countryside. But fills an gadget man needs.

Not the best George (posted review on 12.30.2010) Metric is "standard" for the rest of the globe and not so hard to figure out if you know how to use your brain. I'm stateside also, I know metric conversion as do many others. Maybe you should learn it as it is most helpful.

Easy and Free! I just needed the fastest way to get my exact latitude and longitude without turning on GPS while inside (was too lazy to get up and go outside). This did it easily. It first found my approximate location based on WiFi so that I didn't have to search the map, then gave me the information I wanted. Simple, easy and free!

It works I wanted my present elevation for a multistage geocache. Got it. Only took me three secs to figure out the ui to get my present elev. I don't understand why that isn't part of the home screen but that us only a minor annoyance. Mildly ads with the chesty women are a big detractor (hence 4h stars)
