Geocaching Droid Army Knife (v. 1.35) Разработано WoloSoft |
You can use the GDAK app for offline geocaching. This app uses databases created by the Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK) program, so you will also need to have GSAK installed on your PC (http://gsak.net) and create one or more databases before using GDAK.
For users without GSAK there is an application to convert GPX-files to GSAK-like databases. You can download it here: http://tinyurl.com/bnao6mg

[2012-01-07] Tom: Great Geocaching help I've enjoyed using this app and it has helped tremendously especially on cache runs. |

[2012-01-07] Anonymous: best offline geocache app well recommended, awesome. would glad pay for. |

[2012-01-02] Beth: Great app - Great price Really enjoy being able to quickly copy my GSAK info to my phone. Worked like a charm - used it side-by-side with my eTrex C. Loved being able to use the app without using data plan. Will be throwing a couple of $ your way :) One item on my wish list would be to indicate cache size on the main page or to add it to the T/E filter. |

[2011-12-29] Matt: Somewhat disappointing The compass is slow to respond, the log find button doesn't do anything. The database needs a button to refresh so you can closest caches without having to restart the program. Tried it using the garmin asus A50 to find a cache and using an Asus transformer just as a cache database for info. In both cases it left much to be desired. while i haven't yet tested again fully recent updates seem to have fixed at least the compass problems. |

[2011-11-20] Chris: Fantastic Simple. Very simple which I like. It gives you what you need while out on the trail. I use his app with my 62s to log my finds while caching. |

[2011-10-18] Ron: Once I figured out it can't write to the card... When the phone is a mapped drive on the computer the phone can not create directories or write logs. After I figured that out (only had the phone for 2 days), the program created the directory, I copied the database up and I am off and running. Thank you for the app |

[2011-10-02] Paul: Works great! I just installed the app and got several databases copied over. It looks like it will work great, particularly when I am out in rural areas with no phone signal. This will save me from have to create pdfs to have as backups for non-urban caching! |
[2011-08-20] Daniel: I love this app, I no longer need to print off cache details or logs. I can get info in the fielf even if I don't have a connection. |
[2011-08-03] India: Don't install force closes everytime you try to write can't find any caches for the UK!!! Rubbish! |
[2011-08-02] Epyoch: needs log visit to work I would love that, even if it means that the item would just disappear doesn't actually have to log the visit itself for my taste... |
[2011-07-22] Amy: Nice start I would give this five stars if I could at least write a log to post later. So far i haven't been able to get the "post log" to do anything. |
[2011-07-19] rob: Excellent idea! Works perfect for me! |
[2011-07-16] Brad: Great start..... Great start, once we get some map/navigation support it will the only caching app i'll ever need. Love that Caching attribute icons are there just like on the geocaching.com. Would actually prefer the colors to be inverted, or have the ability to toggle like c:geo, but we can hope for that in future releases. As far as any one who get get the DBs to work, learn to read and follow directions! That is all. |
[2011-07-13] RichardnVicky: Would be five stars if the 'log visit' function worked on my Galsxy S |
[2011-07-10] jacob: Crap just a pattern flinging round don't install |
[2011-07-05] Rhona: Initial problems but now works fine I had the same problem as Jay initially - couldn't get it to show caches. Decided to uninstall and then reinstall and - voila! - all caches showed up immediately. Really useful app. Thanks |
[2011-06-13] Unknown: Works perfect! Copied a database to a sd card and got a list of caches. Request: enter location manually to sort since my tablet does not have a gps. |
[2011-06-10] Jay: Love the idea of using my GSAK DB directly, but...could not get the app to show any caches. Tried couple combinations of DB location amd name. |
[2011-06-01] W8TTS: Interesting application, but . . . Interesting application, but needs some upgrades. Need to be able to change from km/mi. Need a way to log finds, such as log the find and then create a Garmin Field Notes file of all finds as an export. |
