This is a simple tool to allow you to lock and unlock your Windows PC from your Android phone! It works over wifi or 3g (with port forwarding- see app for instructions). It requires you to download the desktop software to use( http://www.solidfiles.com/d/96a5ed854f/ ). Desktop also includes Android style lock screen as a backup. Running our internet test suite can help you with things such as understanding your service provider, seeing how providers compare, or even determining if your connection is adequate to stream video or play online games.

This application hosts a system to measure Internet parameters in support of a number of different research projects.

We are interested in looking at the BGP connectivity of the Internet and other topology information, the accuracy of IP geolocation for location-based services, and general Internet performance. To support those inquiries we need to have some ground truth on how the Internet really works, hence this measurement system.

Blocking Phone Numbers (v. 1.0.11)

With your GPS you can decide to block certain numbers depending on the location where you are. You can block your boss phone calls when you are at home. When you leave home with your phone the boss will be able to call you when you are 250 meters away.

You can either:
-Block certain phone calls in a localized area.
-Block all phone calls in a geographical area.
-Block certain calls everywhere.

(I.e.) Block Paul when I am at Maria's place. Block all calls except Mary's when I am at the office. Block all Ron's calls everywhere. Block all calls when I am at the dentist.

But you must be sure that your phone knows where you are! Don't forget to start your GPS up.

How to:
Select some areas in the geolocalizer and store them in the application.
Create rule linking a phone number to an area.
Choose the type of blocking you want to make
Easy!
