This application is a shortcut to Mobile AP (Wi-Fi hotspot) and USB tethering menu.

Model tested: Samsung Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab.

** This application is a just ONLY shortcut menu. If your device DOES NOT SUPPORT Mobile AP (Wi-Fi hotspot) and USB tethering, the menu DOES NOT WORK.
** SC-02B, SC-01C: Mobile AP and USB tethering is disabled by default.
** Please use tethering function at your own risk.

A note on permissions. The following permissions are required:

android.permission.INTERNET

Required to download adverts in the ad-supported version and for analytics.

android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION

Required to get adverts in the right language for the ad-supported version and for also for analytics e.g. so that we can see which languages we need to localise for.

android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE

Required to generate the network unlock code.

The Marine Debris Tracker mobile application allows you to help make a difference by checking in when you find trash on our coastlines and waterways. You can easily track and log marine debris items from a list of common debris items found on the beach or in the water. The app records the debris location through GPS and you can view the data on your phone and submit to the Marine Debris Tracker Website for viewing and download later (requires registration, which you can do from the app). Your username is shown on the website for only the most recent 5 items tracked, but GPS coordinates not shown. All downloadable and mapped data with GPS coordinates is shown anonymously to the public. More information available on the website under "How do I Start Tracking?". This is an application for backing up files on sdcard through Dropbox.

Users can choose any files/directories on sdcard to be synced with remote directories on Dropbox.


It can start syncing on users' demand,

and also can be run as a service that will automatically start with certain time intervals.




*** current limitation:
Only files existing on the sdcard are synced.
That is, it's not a full 2-way sync.
This is due to the ambiguity of locally deleted files and new remote files.

*** if 'Sync in progress' appears and nothing happens:
Check if there is a 'dropspace-synclock' file on the root of your sd card.
If something goes wrong while syncing,
(eg. crash, network connection loss, or task manager terminated the process accidentally)
this file will not be deleted automatically and will prevent further syncing.
Just delete it, or reboot the device.
